The gentlemen who called from this number was inquiring about a lawsuit, to which I had heard nothing about prior to his call. He was not representing the person claiming to sue.

We had a bad connection on the phone, he said he would call back, oddly enough he didn't.

I believe it could have been a scam.

Marisa if I place a call to you and did not return the call may have been I had the wrong number for youo to claim that it maybe a scam i unfair we are a A rated company with the BBB if you would like call me and we can discuss this matter...until then please keep any negative comments about my company to you self until you are sure what you are saying

The call itself is a total scam.  They try to get to the person in charge by saying it is regarding a lawsuit.  This makes it seem important, and less like a telemarketer.  They even give you a refernce number to sound like a case number.  The lawsuit will have nothing to do with you, then they try to sell you on debt solution services.  Their business may be legit, but there telemarketing calls are disingenuous.

Got the same "type" of call. In response to "Darren", it's bad form to respond to someone and not use spell check! :) You are a rep for a company, it's company image your projecting. Just saying..........

Got a message on voice mail this morning 11/5/2010 regarding a lawsuit that has been filed. Reference No 1181105. I called back and got "Jeff's" voice mail, He emphised that I leave my name, business name,telephone number and reference number.

I left my name and telephone number saying since you called my you have mt business name and reference number.  Clearly a scam.  I do not expect to hear back from them.

Matt you are misinformed.  We do not sell debt solution we settle corperate debt if we are calling a business we are not going to tell someone who answers phone that the company owner has a judment for $40,000 so that is why we only give certain information. I hope this clears up you in correct thought process.

darren.......... if you are a legit business, why dont you post your buisness name , your  business name and physical location. Any one who is  "legit" should have no problem doing that. Or am i asking too much?

no this IS a bull crap company they called my office left a message that we had a judgement and claim that they would help reduce the debt or we need to come to some arangement to settle it.. We are an AAA+ company have NEVER EVER been in collections or even bounced a check we are flawless and this company is a scam !!  PERIOD !

We just had the same type of call at our business.   A Jason Blankey (Emerge 180) just called about referencing a  lawsuit and judgement entered against us (which doesn't exist) , stating that 84 lumber was the plaintiff.   Total scam.    I asked him what exactly he wanted and he said it was just a friendly call to distressed companies to help us with an out of court settlement.     Seriously.

Well these people are still at it.  Yesterday, the first day back in the new year, a call came in from someone identifying herself as Janet.  The call back number was 813-280-0525 (same area code as previously used) and when I called back the lady said she was calling about a lawsuit filed against my company.  She couldn't pronounce the name of the county where our headquarters are located but she had an old address for the company.  The supposed plaintiff turned out to be an operation half way across the country from us, a company we had never heard of.  I immediately got suspicious and started asking for more detail and the lady got nervous and said she needed to re-check some information and would call back later.  So far I've heard nothing more.  Obviously this Emerge-180 uses this ploy to start conversations.  If a company can't offer legitimate reasons for making contact there should be serious concern about their integrity.

This is a complete and utter attempt to scam your business or up sell something. I would NOT talk to anyone at this company...if your interested in settling a lawsuit with me than put it in writing. Calling ppl and saying it's a legal matter is intentionally deceitful. BTW the BBB is merely an non-profit organization that business pay to have their logo on their websites and to try to resolve complaints.  Each company gets it's rating based on how long they have been in business, if they are a paying BBB member, and responses to complaints.  It does not legitimize a business.  If you are not a member then you automatically score a lower rating...imagine that! So if I pay the annual fee I am already a step ahead of the game...I think it's humorous that the President has taken to blog sites in an effort to defend himself...I think if your company had been ethical to start with you would save yourself alot of time and money.
