I also rec'd a call from Central Legal Services, 813-863-1961.  Their number showed as "private" with no telephone number on my caller ID.  Was told my husband had a "complaint" filed against him and was given a complaint number, and to call for the details.  Details??  The caller, Selena Moore said she was only the secretary there, and had no other information as to the nature of the complaint.  There is NO WAY anyone should call to inquire about it.  Just as the posters beforehand have said, if it's a legal matter, they will get in touch with you in writing.  REPORT it to the ftc and get on the national do not call list www.donotcall.gov

This company called stating that there was pending legal action against me & that there had been several attempts to serve me a subpena. He threatened to have it served at my job unless I agreed to settle with them. He stated that I owed a ficticious company a settlement from 2007. Do not give in to them... this is absolutely a scam!

HA!! This was great tactic! Just like the first post said, "Special Investigator"...something about that I hit a deer in a hit-n-run. It was a collection account!  THIS SHOULD BE FRAUD!!

i know where they     are located..........439 4th st 20th floor pittsburgh pa...the investment building.... they are called united process service corporation or central legal services........check it out if you really are looking for them, that's where you can find them...i was working for them, until i found out it was a scam.................................

Got a call from Unknown name and private number , Claimed they were a Special Investigator named Robert Johnson and he filed an affidavitt and gave me a number. He then left a number to call him back (1-832-390-2131) Its a cell phone from houston texas. This is not the first time they tried to do this and the last time they were very rude.

Same thing happened to me. Got scared and pd lesser amount. Two days later I got served with papers! Now trying to reach them for settlement letter wont return calls. Could get ck garnished! What do I do know?

Got a call from a guy who says "Hi Will, it's Pat, gimme a call back as soon as possible," Like we're all chummy buddies or something. Only thing I saw that was wierd was the phone number that came in had two extra numbers on the caller ID. 863-813-283412 Wierd. Guess it must be a VOIP thing dunno.

hahaha: everyone knows that a warrant for court must be delivered person to person.  "One must be served".  I have a former Army Commander in Iraq and then he became a Homicide Detective.  I let him call them back, and ask if he can come pick up the summons.  They hang up.
