This company called me from Central Legal Services stating they were taking action against my social and that the woman is a receptionist for the company. Stated Mr. Morgan was the lead atty and I needed to contact them to get this resolved. She gave some bogus case # and stated if she gave me any info I could sue her. Also received call from 832 317 8359 from a mr. parker with a middle eastern accent calling at 7a cst. I advised him of FDCPA Laws and my ability to sue. They said they would take me to jail (in California) after serving me. This is total B.S., my suggestion if they call your cellphone there's a app in android market for a airhorn and when they call let them have it!!! P.S. These people have absolutely zero power and they have to provide date of debt incurred, original acct#, addr payingess of their location and the info should appear on your credit report. Charged off accts on a credit report aren't eligible for supeona and you dont go to jail for not paying bills except child support. Hope this helps.

They left a message at 8:45am looking for a family member that has never lived here. The caller id number was different 469-814-8041. Message said to give affidavit number to attorney regarding restraining order. Very scary....very much a scare tactic. I will not pass on this message to the family member!

I received this same call.  they called my mother-in-law and me with this " I am special investigator bla bla.  They scared the crap out of an old woman .  When I called them back, they said that they got the wrong person and hung up on me.  I called them back 3 times and each time I was hung up on.  What kind of BullS**T is this.  It is illegal to leave slanderous messages on answering machines.  There got be a way to stop this.  I am saving their message and I am calling my attorney.  This crap stops today!

Got same threats as everyone else. Would not give me any info kept calling me by my maiden name. I have beeen married 23 yrs.  I ask for a copy of bill or # on card she said she did not have any info on that and could not send me anything in mail.She wanted my email to send contract of payment to me  only after I agreed I owed the money and would pay mo. notes.

These f***ing ROACHES just left the same message: "Restraining order" "Case number xxx-xxxx " "You and attorney have 24 hours to respond" -- Look Folks, this TOTALLY violates the FDCPA. I am also, for g***dam sure contacting the Florida AG tomorrow. SO  - [***] SCUMBAG PUNKS at "Central Legal Network" - get ready for YOUR action. I am ALSO "fo goddam sho" filing v. your scumbag shop for $1,000.00 + court costs in St. Johns County Small Claims Court on 1/3/11, just to start the new year off right for you f***ing [***]. As an extra bonus. I am seeking damages of an additional $4,000.00 in the same court (limit here in our county is $5,000.00 per case) .. SOME people, you do not f*** with, meet me....

My wife phoned me at work to report that a Tamiqua (sp) Lester of Central Legal Services in Florida needed to contact me about a civil action filed against me. I was to ask for Ms. Lester and provide her summons number 4H9763.

I went on line to check the number and found the posts concerning a variety of such calls to other people around the country.

Restraining order call for me.  For what?  From whom?  This is an obvious scam.

These people had called and asked for my son and said they had a restraining order against him. HE IS A U.S. Marine and is in Iraq. These people have went over the line. What are these people? How can they say he has a restraining order? I will be filing a complaint agaist them...

I have also received calls from these jerks. I am a recent divorcee and two of my children live with my ex. These jerks said they were a special investigator from child protective services and my children were in danger to call them immediately. When I finally called the told me they were suing me and if I wanted to avoid prison time to pay them right now in full from my checking account. Of course I shared a few choice words and hung up. How does a credible collection agency not have current information? SCAM! Do not give them any information if it's true it will show on your credit report.

Old house mouse from back in the day , like ten years ago,sent me a message .Said these peps contacted her , left the same message as everyone else.They did some digging cause they called her on her unlisted number.

This is a scam my sister and brother in law got the call to. Bunch of phony people..  I called them back and left them prank call messages on their voicemail.. Who do they think they are wasting peoples time. Now they have a ton of vocemails to check with a bunch of nonsense i'm going to call them tomorrow and say my case number is 12345678910 and say my name is seamore butts and i got a call saying I owed 5000 on my bank of america and my SSN # is 999-nevermind and laugh loud in their ear and hangup. hahaah

I received a call yesterday (actually they called 2x with in a 1min) from blocked number on my cell. They left a threathen like all above with stating they have a restraining order and tried to serve me papers at home and at work, they left a case number that some woman rambled off like speedy gonzales. then with her getto accent i couldnt understand. she id her self as candice and when calling back the first time the was a hold for over 5 min then when i did get thru the gal who answered said well i can help you. she was just a laughing thru the call with me thinking all of it was funny - totally unprofessional. I gave the case number which she couldnt find then asked me to give her my first name  (isnt it suppose to be last name first?). then found me supposely by my last names 1st 3 letters. then says i owe $1500 and that they tried to serve me at home and work but will try work again but trying to avoid embarrass me. I asked what is this in reference to she mention a financial institution that was written off on my bankruptcy back in 2004. Then all of a sudden she says i lost her, where i knew she can hear me - she then began talking to her co-worker saying well i got 2 today
i am at this point practically screaming in the phone - finally i hung up and redialed - got the same lady and then she had the nerve saying i hung up on her - i explained i heard you say you got 2 to your coworker. then she started to laugh real hard. i said the account you are seeking money from was on my bankruptcy so clear that off - then she tells me - well call back with your lawyers name and number tomorrow and that will resolve it.
so i did that today and got some ghetto witch and i asked again for candice who again wasnt available
so i told this witch i need to leave my lawyers infomation - so she says go ahead (with attitude). i said you dont know who i am i haven't id myself - i asked do you have my case there? she hung up on me then! i called back 5x and each time she hung up on me.
total scam - i really dont have the time or money to waste on this piece of poop company but if someone doesnt sue, gets these people to jail GOD BLESS them to teach these people a lesson and stop harrassing hard working people who have real jobs.

They were trying to get ahold of my daughter and called MY PARENTS and left a message about a restraining order, and court date and scared my poor parents to death.'

This kind of business practice should not be allowed!

My husband recieved a phone call today for me. He was concerned and called me right away. I was at work and could not handle this situation before the "office" had closed for the day. I have been informed that they will be back in the office at 8:30 monday morning. I am so glad my brother got me to look up the number. I was racking my brain trying to figure out why anyone would file a complaint against me, but not have my phone number. This is truly a ridiculous scam.

I got the same message and he even called my mother!! I tried to call back but no answer always goes to message. Thank goodness I investigated this a bit,now I'm not so worried and tied up in knots! WHEW!!!

lmfao i got the same call and called my parents and sisters mad as hell woundering who i pissed off.but thx to yu all im not wrried bout them clowns im gonna call and prank the hell out of them i found out there out of singapore.....bwahahahaha imma have the last laugh....thx guys

yea these people almost got over five hundred dollars from my husband we gave them the his account number and all the info they needed my husband never been in trouble with the law or any thing we have four kids to take care of so him going to jail was scary so we did it then i look the number up on this sight and my heart drop to the floor i am so glad you all posted this to see they said the same thing with the order and 24 to 48 hours are your going to have leagal actions but we are ok now if u give them your info just call your bank let them know what happen and the will stop the payment they change your account info right away again thanks to all posted this u save my money   the gut that called said his name was brian proter

I received the same message as most everyone else I will not call the number back. It's amazing the person posing as a private investigator, Captian Graham he said his name was and  didn't leave his phone number. Kind of weird maybe because they don't want to get in trouble with the law for posing as someone they are not!

I got the same type of call and knew it was a bunch of bs...they wouldn't tell me what I'm being "sued" for so I asked for their info so that my attorney Peter Howe from the law firm of Dewey Cheatem and Howe can contact him....the ghettto girl hung up on me.

I am very glad to found this site and know that there are others who have received this same type of call from a similar number (1964 instead of 1961).  I gotten this call this morning when I was at work and didn't get the message until tonight.  I got the same type of message saying that there has been a complaint filed against me, and something about a restraining order.  The person to claimed to be "Anthony West" from "Special Investigations."  He also gave the affidavit number twice, and told me that I or my attorney must respond in 24 to 48 hours.  Interestingly enough, they got the last name right, but was way off base with the first name.  I may keep the voice mail message and follow up on this.

Thanks guys for speaking out against this number, and confirming my suspicions.  Indeed that call was a scare tactic.
