- Anonymous| 9 replies817-496-6500 is Credit Systems International. They have called my landline at least once a day since I got this phone number a month ago. I left numerous messages and even spoke to someone about not calling my number and they continue to call. They are located in Fort Worth. They called today and I answered. When I advised the caller that I had left 'them' a message not call this number, she said 'them who; you don't know who this is' and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor, but they would not transfer me to one.I will be reporting them to the OAG.
- Donna| 10 repliesReceived a pre-recorded message on my work phone asking stating that they need to speak to me and to call them back. Instead I "googled" them. Will report to my management.
- TammyKept receiving calls to my cellphone from this number; first several times they left no message (I did not answer since I did not recognize the number). The last time they called (10 minutes ago) a recorded voice left only a call-back number. I called, and was connected to a credit collection service. I inquired about the company name and was told it was Credit Services. As I had already received a number of calls from this number a few months back and requested to be removed (they were asking for the previous owner of the cell number) I told her that this was the second time I had to request to be removed from their number database and to remove me immediately. She became rude, would not allow me to finish my sentence, talked loudly over me then hung up on me. Will be reported to the OAG as well and my phone service.
- Caller: Credit Services?

- LauraThey are calling my work number and are asking for a worker and they are not aloud to except personal phone calls here. Maybe this person owes but they shouldnt be calling an office and leaving the pre-recorded message. I work in an office with multi phone lines and since I am the only one that answers phones this is annoying. As well as all the other pre-recorded messages I recieve from different companies almost everyday. Dont the get it that we are not interested in dealing with them. It really is hard to answer these kind of calls when you have other people on the line trying to place orders and you have to put them on hold to answer it. There should be a law against these calls

- Timbo| 6 repliesIf they call you on your cell phone with a predictive dialer they owe you $500.00 end of discussion. That is a violation of the Telephone Consumers Protection Act. Make sure you document the day and time that they called you on your cellphone and wait for your bill. When you receive your cellphone bill fire off a letter telling them that you know that they broke the law with a redacted copy of your phone bill and wait for their attorney to call you. If done properly you can leverage this to get rid of a debt they are attempting to collect and maybe put some cash in your pocket. Just remember each time they call you it is worth $500 dollars if they do it with a predictive dialer to your cellphone.
From the Telephone Consumers Protection Act:
The use of autodialers, including predictive dialers, often results in abandoned calls – hang-ups or “dead air.” Except for emergency calls or calls made with the prior express consent of the person being called, autodialers and any artificial or prerecorded voice messages may not be used to contact numbers assigned to:
any emergency telephone line;the telephone line of any guest or patient room at a hospital, health care facility, home for the elderly, or similar establishment;a paging service, WIRELESS PHONE SERVICE(including both voice calls and text messages), or other commercial mobile radio service; or any other service for which the person being called would be charged for the call.
Calls using artificial or prerecorded voice messages – including those that do not use autodialers – may not be made to home phone numbers except for: emergency calls needed to ensure the consumer’s health and safety;
calls for which you have given prior express consent; non-commercial calls;
calls that don’t include or introduce any unsolicited advertisements or constitute telephone solicitations;calls by, or on behalf of, tax-exempt non-profit organizations; or calls from entities with which you have an Established Business Relationship.- Call type: Debt collector

- Vicki replies to Timbo| 3 repliesUnfortunately if you listed your cell phone number as a contact number on any application for credit with the company who has initiated the call, or a company calling on their behalf (in this case, a credit collection agency) you have basically given permission for them to call that number and they are not breaking any law, according to what I've found in numerous law websites :-( We are also getting calls from this company on both my husbands and my cell.
- Rather Not Say replies to Vicki| 1 replyBut I have an account with Regional. Don't ever do business with these people. They will rip you off. I had a car finance through them for over 2 years now and my principle hasn't even budged yet. I still owe like 19k and 2 years when I bought the car, It was like around 21k I owed. So in 2 years I barely paid 2k into the principle. I am currently getting a loan from my bank to pay off the car and be done with them. If you ever go to a dealership and you get approved for a car, make sure to ask them who is financing the car. If they say Regional Acceptance Corporation, I would advise them to contact another lender. Or simply get up and walk out.
- NONEi just called them and had them remove our number, she was actually polite to me.

- DennisI have been recieving calls for someone else on my home number. I looked up this number and called them to advise that it was a wrong number. They seemed to be polite andunderstanding. Time will tell.

- JessieThis number has been calling my work phone number for over a month now every single day at the exact same time. I work in an incoming call center and it's a disruption in my work day. I get a recording asking to speak to someone with the last name Garcia. I can never make out the first name. I've worked in this office since they first opened here in Frisco, TX and no Garcia has ever had this extention number.

- Sophia| 1 replyI too am receiving phone calls from this company (CSI). They have called my number for the past 4 years asking for someone I don't know. I have repeatedly advise them that they have the wrong number, that I don't know the person they want, and TO REMOVE MY TEL# from their files and this person's account. I am sending a letter in writing to this affect. I pay my bills....I don't want to continually receive SOMEONE else's bills collecting calls. UGH!
