REPEATED calls from such as this number.  There must be some way to block these folks.  Very irritating.

These b-turds just called and wouldn't say anything.  When I called back, I was treated to a man belching followed by a robo-message, "This subscriber cannot receive messages at this time."  How cute these crooks are!

I will add this number to my phone's address book under SCAM so I don't bother picking up again.  I will also immediately report them to www.donotcall.gov.

Just got my first call from this number, didn't answer.  On reverse phone search it stated that, yes it originates from Los Angeles, that it is a landling, and the phone carrier is: Mpower Communications Corp-CA

I get these same calls several times a week from various parts of the country.  Well, I mean, from several area codes.  Yes, it is always the same thing: lowering my credit card interest rate.  When you tell them you are on the DNC list, they hang up on you.  I wonder if anyone really falls for this scam.

I get these calls daily.  The people are rude - I always press 1 to speak to someone and tell them I've asked to be removed from their lists every day, and like others have said they hang up halfway through (then I get the next call the next day).  I am on a DNC list.  These people are parasites, and I have an infestation of these calls.

Get continued calls to reduce credit card interest rate.  Push 1 and no one is there.  If someone is there it is an illiterate person who hangs up when you ask a question.  Call the number back and they have a recorded belch and saying that the subscriber can not receive messages at this time.

The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call.  Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

I get several calls a week as well from numbers like this.  I too have told them to take me off there let several time.  Today I asked to speak with manager and the guy said,"he's busy now but he will call back." then he hung up.  Several times I have reported them to the National Do Not Call List as I am on the list.  I called the number back and heard loud burp as well.  Sometimes I let them go through their speech then tell them I don't have credit cards they then hang up.  These are so annoying!!  I wonder how many people actually believe this and give their personal info and CC numbers!

Great idea,  Some other people have suggested pressing one and when the rep comes on the line to blow a high pitched whistle in the phone.
One time I dialed one and told them I was on the do not call list and they hung up on me. I went outside to mow the lawn and my wife came out and told me someone from their actually call me back and  told my wife they new my name and where I worked. I don't know if that was a threat, or not , but sure took it that way.
I'm sure they are just looking to steal personal information so they can eventualy steal money.
Not sure but they need to be stopped.

Kind of hard to block them when they use a differnt number to call you each time they call. And they alwalys seem to be calling from a different state as well.
When you try to dial the number back it always ends up in the old telephone company recording. "You have reached a number that is not in service"
