This same thing happened to me. Pretty disturbing. Nothing like someone burping in your ear!

They called my cell phone and my boss took it away because we can't have calls at work

Unprofessional dolts who told me that [sniff] I was a "cosmo" and would "never be a star." Alas! I am all choked up! Boo-hoo! He also asked if I was drunk or what was I on...

I always ask to be removed from the caller's "call  list." If they do not respond professionally, I mess with them until they hang up on me.

If this had been a professional company rather than (I suspect) a bunch of acammers, the call would go a lot differently.

i just dont answer numbers I dont know. If its important they'd leave a message. They never do.

Got a phone call from a number I don't "know".
They left no message.
I am on the National Do Not Call List.
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)
I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
and see if that can get the government
to work for me.
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)

Surprise, surprise, it was my friend Rachel yet again, with my final offer yet again. Oh how I wish that could be my final offer. Can't somebody please wipe these fungi off the face of the earth?

Keep filing complaints

I received a call from this number telling me I'd won $5 million dollars in a lottery. Could barely understand the guy. And, yes, I'm on the DNC list

Got another phone call (10:01am) from an out-of-state number
that I didn't "know" or recognize.  
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

I'm going to
http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
AND to
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will again go through all those steps.)  
We should all pile on.
