- Sad> replies to Lurker| 12 repliesDear Lurker:
I really sense a feeling of loss and disappointment in you and it saddens me. A lot of uncomfortable realities were presented over the years and for a variety of reasons that were ignored, rebuked or argued. The basic issue was/is they OVER financed and UNDER produced. Far too many individuals benefitted from front loading their profits. At least K1's were distributed in a timely manner this year. So now the reality must be fully accepted. 110% of investment is loss. I add 10% because so many individuals will continue to pay into the fiasco each year through custodian fees. It does seem a shame that so many lost so much and yet others selling the "dream" walked away with millions of dollars in profit. Like so many tragedies in today's society nothing will happen to the abusers and the little guy will have to suck it up. I am sorry. - Agree replies to Sad>| 3 repliesI agree with you. I hope that there has been enough attention to this in the media that any future projects do not receive the amount of funding as the last ten years' worth of Box Office Productions projects. I hope the principles gain a reputation that they richly deserve. It will come back to them. It always does.
- Still Funding replies to Agree| 2 repliesI guarantee you they are still raising money the same old way. Nothing happened to them for stealing $120,000,000 so I am sure they are not worried. It doesn't hurt so bad losing other peoples money.
- Lurker replies to Still Funding| 1 replyI think these guys are pretty done as far as raising much in the way of investor funds in the future. They basically covered the entire country , hit up hundreds of investors , and certainly can't go back to their black book of contacts after this disaster of an investment. If I ever heard from any of that crew that raised the funds, I'd laugh in their face.
- Not so sure replies to LurkerThey would be out of work and homeless if they stop raising funds. That is the business model. All they need to do is change the name again and POOF! new company.
- Wondering replies to Sad>| 7 repliesWhat is the next film project they're planning?
Is there another specific film project in the works (based on a specific Roger Baum book or otherwise)?
Is there a web site devoted to the next planned film from ECOZ/Summertime?
Have any plans for a subsequent movie been made known to investors?
There's no indication on the Summertime web site... - Lurker replies to WonderingIn my opinion, there will be no next film , project, play , dvd, - nothing at all. There is no money and the fundraising operation has burned so many bridges all across the country that they will never be able to raise a nickel. If you received your K1 you will see that your investment has been written down to zero. I don't think it will get any better this year or in years to come.
- ANOTHER VICTIM replies to KarenWe all got robbed by a bunch of really slick crooks.

- Lurker replies to Projects| 1 replyNo calls for no money, do you know of anyone receiving calls for more cash? I can't imagine that they would have the b**ls to call anyone for cash, no matter what story they tried to spin.
