    MSK,

Your credibility on anything is completely undermined by your inability to spell or put together a coherent sentence.  You do seem very angry and personally/emotionally invested in this (have you ever invested in anything financial that you can give advice on?).  Seems to be consuming you and eating you alive.  Maybe you should go to the beach with the other guy, it might calm you down.

    Inside Info
Every single investor who invested any any of the Oz offshoots is going to lose their entire investment. The 40% someone keeps mentioning is standard fare in the capital raising game. It's what they call an ISO - Independent Sales Office.

The fact is that none of the reps that work for Dorothy are licensed and they all receive a commission. Call it a management fee, call it what you want, but the fact remains their compensation is tied directly to the amount of capital raised. I'm not going to bother giving you a long explanation, but it's a securities violation and makes the Reg. D exemption they claim null and void.

I see the Facebook Dorothy of Oz page is regularly updated, and press releases keep being issued regarding stars who have been signed to participate in the film.  I am amazed that relatively well known people would take part in something that is not a bankable project.  Just wondering if they are getting big paychecks and don't care about the end result.  Someone posted that Summertime/Alpine et al was adamant that this cartoon would prove they are a serious entity.  Since the beginning of 2012 they certainly have had their share of press.

Finding it difficult to contact the Bridge Group these days-has anyone else attempted?  It seems like we have all given up and let them keep our money without a fight.

This seems a bit questionable. I am very curios why someone would want to buy private shares from distraught individuals rather than simply purchase the shares directly, along with all of te standard legal documents. Shares will continue to be made available to investors under one guise or another for as long as possible since the only true profit comes from the sales of shares.

Offers such as these seem to raise further questions.

I am also curios how you feel this project will stack up next to Disneys which also has beautiful Land of china and probably well in excess of $100,000,000 worth of promotion behind it, and Dorothy of Oz has no distributor or adequate marketing plan.

If the movie is not in theaters in the united states or any other country but maybe has a slight chance of going to DVD & TV how is going to ever make back the $80,000,000 or whatever higher amount theses amateur numbskulls ave thrownat it.

Just explain to me in simple terms how this will ever work.

I am also perplexed at the confusion concerning the validity of the project. There can be no question that a film is being made and that certain efforts by professionals are being made. However, there is little question that that funds for the project were raised illegally and the were mismanaged along with commingling of funds and far too many individuals earning real money from the efforts of selling shares and not at all from the manufacturing of a tangible project.

I believe the term might be front loading. I don't know.

It seems that project has enough glamour, excitement and appeal to entice the stupidity of uneducated investors, some of whom flagrantly brag that they realize that they'll lose their investment because it is so outlandishly high risk, but somehow construe that it's a fun way to lose money ( probably never considered worthwhile charities as an option to give away $100,000), but the actual studios, that knw and understand the business, companies that have a bottom line and cannot e so cavalier about risk, have all, and it appears to be exactly all, have passed on ths opportunity of a lifetime. So Centineo, a usedcar salesman, knows more about Hollywood than Hollywood. He doesn't know investments, movies or success. He knows how to scam. He is the same slick tallker that organized pyramid parties, or multilevel marketing scam. I mean they sell investments like a Tupperware party.

How many of the 5000 investors will take for a class action lawsuit.

I am not distraught. But I am angry.  As you pointed out, I would have much rather given the money to a worthy charity or church.

I would love for a class action suit to be initiated, but how do we all find other investors save for the few of us here who are (weeding out the obvious plants) frequent visitors to this forum? And then doesn't that mean we each have to pony up our share of the legal fees?  Seems to me that spending even more money because of these people will be distasteful to many, myself included.

I have not looked at my paperwork in some years, but I would love to determine whether or not I as a stockholder have the right to visit the studio and look at the records and list of investors.

Post n Facebook site for Dorothy of oz & summertime. You have 100% rights to visit office and look at books. The question is do you have we have rights to all the books?

    Dear not distraught but angry;
According what I have seen you have no such rights, but you do have a right to ask for and receive annual financial  reports. I would start there. Next you should contact the SEC and file a complaint, and so should every other unqualified and not accredited "investor". Having a SEC action would make your lawsuit easier and less costly. While considering a civil class action lawsuit beware that most, if not all of your money is probably spent or hidden away and gone. Therefore you should attempt to get them on criminal charges as well.

Great. I'm glad you liked it. These people have made movies before. What they have never made before is a profit for their victims. However by utilizing illegal fundraising methods combined with exorbitant commissions they have been very successful at making money for themselves.

You are an incredibly fortunate person to be so blissfully ignorant and optimistic. So after being years late and severely over budget the film is done. The question of how much money was illegally raised and the net amount spent on the film is probably not even a concern of yours. So what if Centineo and the notorious Carroll Brothers were able to put tens of millions of dollars directly into their pockets just from you saying "YES" to an investment. You have absolutely no qualms over paying them anywhere from 20% to 40% commission, as well as probably picking up the tab for a lot of unnecessary high jinx over the past 7 or 8 years. So lets put the facts that the money was raised illegally, spent improperly and provided a rather highly substantial income to Centineo, Kaufman, Carrols and Urdank, or that no matter what happens that merry crew will always have those ten’s of millions in their off-shore accounts even if you lose everything. I agree, that was to b e expected and those good fellows provided solid answers about all that.

BUT, now the project is FINALLY finished. I suspect it eventually had to happen. It look OK, we as investors think it’s amazing and cant wait for all that success and windfall profits to start. I bet you already have your new beach house picked out.

Well, it seems that there is a little issue with this grand story. NO STUDIO wants this movie. NO ONE is going to put up the money to promote this film and it will never make it into the theaters.  It will be on DVD and TV but will never make back even a small percentage of the costs. It is now September and the movie is completed. The “boys” will now begin their spiel about how well it is being received by the Hollywood executives but that they have decided it will be “BETTER” for the investors if the distribute themselves. I mean why share the huge profits with a studio? So, even though it is hard work they are going to “raise” another $50,000,000 to take that movie out themselves. Piece of cake. And, more money for all of us. BUT, it won’t work, they don’t know what they are doing, money will be wasted again, they will again makes millions off of the commissions and it will fail. All of 2013 is booked for new releases already, there is no room for this movie and the studio will out market them.

You see, it really doesn’t matter if the movie is done, or if it looks good. The only thing that matters is that it sells, but that isn’t going to happen because Hollywood doesn’t want any part of these criminals. You see Hollywood does their due diligence unlike you.

So lets wait and see what the story is about distribution. Lets wait and see if they will decide that it is in everyone’s best interest to distribute the film themselves by RAISING millions of dollars and that the film has an outside chance of being on a couple hundred screens in 2014 maybe.  Lets see why all of the Wal-Mart deals fell apart and no toys ever sold, lets see why the virtual world didn’t succeed.

BUT, none of that will matter because that honest fellow Centineo said it was a risk, and you are a shrewd gambler that doesn’t mind losing a few bucks. It was so much FUN being involved.

    Now What

I have a couple of questions for you.
Are you an actual investor in this project?? If so this is a rather surprising point of view to take, it strikes me as vindictive and self serving but to what end? I wonder why would someone with an actual vested interest  strike such an hysterical and negative tone, that would probably be a question for a psychiatrist.
As to your statement about no studio wants this movie, are you in some special position to factually know what every studio and independent distributor is doing? Are you somehow privy to the thinking process behind each of these companies? Are you some how consulted by all of  them on a regular basis about their decision making process vis a vis what films they are producing and distributing and when? You state that the schedule for 2013 is  booked? How would you know that?? Are you also privy to the bonus structures of all these companies when the make the decision regarding their own product compared to an independent film? If not, then  any thinking person would conclude  that this is your uninformed, biased and non professional opinion.  Everyone is free to have one. It is what makes are country great.
But I remember my grandmother's advice "beware the opinions and motivations" of the peanut gallery.

TD, the information expressed by Now What  seemed quite plausible and not farfetched to me, seeing as  I invested with Alpine aka Summertime aka as what-ever-they-call-themselves now.  I saw several movies by BOP being sold to investors  and they died.  Love Is the Drug.  Black Honeymoon etc.  Remember them? I am sure you do.  I highly doubt you are a fellow investor who is excited at the prospects of Dorothy of Oz. Your post here smells like an employee/principal of the orgaznization trying to salvage your reputation on the internet.  And if not and you are a fellow investor, then you are naive and uninformed yourself. I doubt you are just an industry person stopping by.  Your post is too snide and wordy to be anything other than someone trying to save face.

    now What replies to TD
    Dear Greg Centineo:

I am curious as to why it matters if I am an “actual” investor or not, but what is surprising is your complete asinine logic that we shall not worry because the Titanic is unsinkable. I think that perhaps you have never really given the investor any real thought in this enterprise.  You sold this as some giant business that we would own, the intellectual property. Greg, the [***] is worthless. And you know it.  But how does it feel to stand on the sunny slopes in your thousand-dollar ski outfit with your pocket lined with literally tens of millions of dollars in commission. Here is a flat and easy question Greg, did you or did you not earn millions of dollars in commissions? How much did the Carroll Brothers rack in? So really do you care what happens now? You’ve made your money and we have lost ours. BUT are you arrogant that you are actually going to ask for more? Do you really think Alpine is qualified to distribute this film? They have no track record of ever selling anything.

How do I know the studios don’t want this crap? Because they haven’t bought it have they. I mean I am no genius but if a major studio wanted it they would have bought it by now. Besides how is it going to compete against Disney? Greg, all you have to do is use Google to locate facts. I know you hate facts and prefer to lie about the sales of Baum’s, books, your producers shady past with DreamWorks and a number of other “talking” points.  Check out this website http://www.film-releases.com/film-release-schedule-2013.php and you let us know where your movie fits in. it doesn’t. Where is the weekend that a kid’s 3D movie can open that won’t be crushed by the competition? So lets hope for DVD, oh yeah that’s gone now too, along with TV. No money there anymore. ALL revenue streams are gone. Overseas? Do they even care? Will they pay anything if no US release?  STOP with the silly BS and be honest. The project is dead. They did a good job making it, it looks nice, but it is dead. No sales. Once again the Carroll brothers did exactly what they always do and fumble on the 1-yard line. It really is pathetic because it truly had potential and the picture you painted was a good one. IF someone could have pulled it together. I guess no one was there that had that vision.

Now Greg, you ask if I am “privy” to how these companies spend their money. Absolutely not!! But logic dictates, except in your world of “spin” that any company would spend money on their projects first.

Everything I am saying is biased, and yes to a degree uninformed, but Greg do the research and the picture that facts present is far from your nonsense it is sickening. Even if you track back on these posts you’ll notice that all of the “rants” of the “malcontent” ring true with sound logic and are based on referenced facts. Oddly all of the “protests” posted by “happy investors” is vindictive, lacking in substance and fact, and perpetuates the lie that all is good in Oz.

Its OK Greg, they did a good job making a movie. The raised the money illegally, you were compensated enormously (probably well $15-20 million), the virtual world failed, the merchandising with Wal-Mart failed, the movie is unsold basically Alpine did everything they said they would, they made all that stuff but Greg You failed because none of the stuff you promised, success, came true.

Quit pretending sign your name and be a man.

But I remember my grandmother's advice "beware the opinions and motivations" of the peanut gallery. This is so you, what does this even mean??  What is my motivation? I’ m blowing off steam, you idiot. I just lost money and I am not as happy and joyful as you are.
