- They Are a Fake Company replies to BigA| 2 repliesThe certified letter was received by the Atlanta post office on September 16. When sending letters via certified mail, you are provided with tracking information, so I've been checking that. That's how I found out what day it was received there. The suite number that they have listed on their website isn't actually a suite - it's just a PO Box. And because it's a PO Box, the post office doesn't have to attempt to make a delivery. So it can sit there for longer than normal. I could get it returned to me if I have my local post office follow up, I just haven't yet. The fact that it continues to sit there without being picked up further shows that this is a scam company. What company doesn't check their mail for 44 days? None that I know of.
Fun new thing - I set up an email and signed up for their newsletter on their website. There is no newsletter. I also posed as a business owner looking to put accounts into collections with them. Zero response. I'm guessing because they don't collect on legitimate debt - just debt that they make up. - BigA replies to They Are a Fake Company| 1 replyOK, looks like you have covered all the bases. In most cases the AG's and the BBB will send letters. Which of course will go unanswered. At some point you will hear back from those entities but it will probably take a while for it to get pulled back up and for them to realize that they will not be getting an answer. The Post Office has the letter. They put a notice in the box that you have to come to the window to sign for it. It is still unusual for them to hold it for 44 days though. You may be able to get real information on their location from the Postmaster as they had to provide ID to get that box. That sometimes takes a subpoena though. Depends on how friendly the Postmaster is and what sort of mood they are in.
- PhilI started getting calls with 6 months ago, a masked number (looks like a local number) the robocall referred to Merit Exchange (they are debt collectors located at 2250 Oak Road, Suite 137, Snellville GA 30078, their toll free number is 800-755-8326; I contacted them in writing twice to cease and desist these harassment tactics on debts that I question the validity of; now same number to call, but it is from Evolution Mediation Group located at 3212 Northlake Pkwy, suite 451386, Atlanta GA 31145; this like wack a mole, I have been dealing with this since 2003 when my identity was stolen in an office robbery (yep everything is in the personnel files) good thing for me that we had the police come over and we filed a report, bad thing is that you have to explain it each time someone like that think they are going to get a payoff. Now their robocall just say to call their number, so I seriously doubt they are a legitimate debt collection agency

- They Are a Fake Company replies to BigAThe only one I haven't heard back from yet is the Michigan AG. Like you guessed, they did not respond. That would be kind of fun to see if the post office would give information on that box. My guess is that it's not even their box, though.
Looking through the information you posted and the history on their website, I did a search on the phone number that they registered the website to. That is an Georgia phone number. But they use a New York address, and a different business name for registering for the website. The address is a house. And that business name they used is actually located in Brooklyn. It would seem that this will be a never ending search to get to the bottom of who these people really are. Hopefully people do a little Googling before handing money over to them. - Mr TGot a call from a random local number. it went to voice mail they say this is a message for"my name" Please press any key to be connected to your case manager or contact our office directly at 833-781-8175. - Debbie replies to KaybeeI had exactly same steps of experience with local caller ID#719-309-9997 female robot call. I never called back.
- They Are a Fake CompanyThey appear to be changing the name of who they are calling from now. One of their spoofed numbers that they used to contact me, and I did speak with someone claiming to be from Evolution Mediation Group, on that number, just called me again today. Same robo message, but when I pressed 1, a recording said they were calling from County Services. The first person I spoke with, who identified herself as Ms. Davis, said they were calling from Capital Financial Services. When I pressed for information about the debt, she said she had to transfer me to someone who could help. She transferred me to a man who said his name was Michael, and that he was with Capital Management Services. I told him the debt he was calling about was not real, or at least not mine. He became agitated and told me I'm entitled to my day in court. When I asked for his mailing address, he said he will see me in court and hung up on me.
Capital Management Services IS a legitimate company. But this call was not from them. I verified this by reaching out to the legitimate Capital Management Services via email, and their General Counsel, responded back that the call did not come from them.
So be on the lookout - they're now changing their name.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- SaraCalls 3-4 times a day never leaves a message
- BriannaDO NOT AGREE TO ANY PAYMENTS!! I wouldn’t even suggest giving any of your time to them. I received the same calls/voicemails. Just a case number and someone stating high importance. I actually get in contact with these people (when they want my info to get my money). Once I gave them my information, I do not get any answers to my phone calls or returned calls from left voicemails. They took 2 payments from me, and the third payment came under a different name that was previously taking it. No surprise that no one answers and their answering machine is unprofessional, no specification on the company. I finally get a clue, and decide to look through my kept voicemails to find the number, look it up online and this is what I get. Reported it to my bank right away. I can not believe I got played, as they are seeming legit to those who aren’t familiar with collections process. I thought it was legit and was proved wrong. They got what they got from me, but shall get no more !
It was a female and then secondary person was male. I shared my high concern of fraudulence and he “reassured” me.- Caller: Evolution Mediation

- DBThey will also spoof 206-899-2435 Tell them NOTHING, and ask questions. They are phishing for information and if you ask questions they will dodge them then hang up. If you call them out for being a scam they will hang up.
TLDR : Don't answer the phone.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- LeeCall was recorded message asking for my ex-wife. I haven’t seen her in 20 years.
- Needing Reassurance| 2 repliesThey keep calling and calling and calling. They called me today at work! They are very convincing but rude to the point of making me feel like the dumbest person in the world! If I do have this debt, I want to get it cleared up but I don't want to be duped! This is getting to be too much! I know all of these reviews point to this being a scam but how can I make this stop? They've pushed it to another level by calling my place of employment!
Is there any way I can confirm 100% that I do not owe this money?- Caller: Evolution Mediation

- BigA replies to Needing Reassurance| 1 replyYou can't make them stop. As to you other question, well that was already answered.

- Kate| 3 repliesCan someone please help me with this number called my mother told her that they were my case manger and I called back they said that I need to make a payment plan on a 469$ debt from the bank. The funny thing is I did have to bank look into a check around the same time they say I did and they said if I don’t pay on this this coming Monday the courts will get involved come Friday. I really need to know if this is possible they now know where I live and all my information

- Kate replies to Kate| 2 repliesTD bank ** also my address is new also I have no idea how they have it I’m thinking it’s from doing an online survey
- BigA replies to Kate| 1 replyMost likely everything you need to know has already been posted. Courts do not "get involved" and certainly not on a holiday weekend when they most likely will be closed or at limited capacity. Courts are busy places.

- S. Calif. replies to DanI received one of many mags from 833.781.8175, spoke w/Edward's who verified my last 4 of ssi n capital one cc, previously paid off 2010. I asked for documentation to be mailed. Stated that they do not send out any mailing. Then he stated that they were Evolution Management firm and I needed to pay the outstanding balance. I Advised Mr. Edwards that I was Not! Giving him any further information without proof of what account their many reps have been calling from and that if they continued to call a number that is not mine, I would be persuing legal action towards their various company names. Then he stated to go ago and he would put his supervisor on the phone, after two minutes still no supervisor. I again advised him that they n he would not be getting any information from me. Then he stated ok so so. Thank you** this is ridiculous specially if they want something previously paid to be paid again ***
