My call was from Sunward Buildings they left a message and of course my boss wants me to call them back.  When I called I asked them what their company did and they transferred me. I again asked what the company did and they asked what city/state I was calling from and I asked them what does that matter, what does your company sell.  When they kept pressing for city/state I hung up. Not 2 mins later I get a call from someone else wanting to speak to my manager about steel buildings.  I took a msg and hung up.  I've told my boss to stay away, if he does or not is up to him.

Received a call from Bill Nagaki stating Sunward was in need of a contractor in Manitoba to handle their products. I have a company that installs and manufactures fabric covered metal frame buildings and on occasion have put up metal clad wood framed building. After reviewing their web site I was impressed and phoned back to Bill asking for more info. He told me he would get a package together and courier it to me. Then he said I would need to cover the shipping charges - seamed reasonable to me and asked him to send an invoice and I would forward payment. Got a call a couple of hours later asking for my credit card number.,When I told him that I do not give my credit card number to anyone I don't know over the phone but would sent him a check for the shipping costs he put me on hold for a few moments than said if I didn't give a credit card number I wouldn't get to become a distributor. All I can say is thanks for showing me that you are not interested in doing real business and saved me lots of money. These clowns are just like the losers at Ace Industrial Supply stay away and deal with honest people.

got a call from sunward...what company wants you to spend money to apply to work for them...only $45 but found it unusual to have to pay them to fill out forms to qualify to work for them....sounded scammy to me

They are a Steel Building manufacture that appears to produce a  pretty decent building. I have not done one but the website looks ok to me. I dont like these calls anymore then the next guy, but lets not assume they are a scam because they have a marketing company.

Looked into it. They are real. Just wish they would mail me something rather than call me.

Nice of you to provide comments. I'm nearing a purchase, and the Sunward dealer I'm wworking with has a good reputation, and seems confident that this is a good builing. Hw is Sunward's quality? Their facories are busy. Is their main problem that they sell dealerships to people who shouldn't buy them, or is it deeper than that?

Lady named Jessica with Rock Ford says they are looking for a contractor for small sheds and steel framed homes. No harm calling and asking around on their part but should really research the places they call first. They are wanting steel and we sell landscape ground cover. So not the best place to call for steel.

This company is not a scam at all! I will admit, I am a Contractor Account Manager and we literally bust our [***] getting great jobs for our contractors. I represent a dozen of contractors all over the US who are getting the jobs that your business isn't! Yes I am paid by Rockford, but they did not pay me to reply to this post. I am extremely proud to work for this organization. It's a family ran business that has constructed over 55,000 buildings worldwide, worked with millions of satisfied customers over the 40 years the company has been in business and through the 40 years and all the customers we have still maintained a triple A rating with the BBB. Seriously, how many "scam" businesses can say that? If you are a contractor and you get a call from Sunward/Rockford please do yourself a favor and listen. If you sign up you will have a guy like me fighting to get you business and will bust his ass to do so.

An A rating with the BBB only means you paid them. Look up the expose online. At least you admit you're a shill.

My husband had also talked to Sunward. They sent him a ton of documents explaining their group. When it all felt to good to be true and AFTER they had him submit an application they then called saying that he needs to pay almost $10,000 for his part of advertising. He did say "well I'll have to get back to you guys about this" when he heard the amount. Was wondering how it worked out for you? My husband is thinking about doing it and to me thats a lot of money to be "unsure" about the business. I also looked into the BBB (looks good on their end) but found a couple things online that make them sound shady. What was your outcome?

The BBB isn't what it used to be. Any business can pay for good ratings these day's. I say investigate further into this first. There's more then just the BBB to check with. State registry's, ftc etc.  Do a good background check..

a steel building company called are local lumber company and asked for companys with good references and that do a lot of work in our city, so the lumber company  thought they were doing me a favor by giving my name as a referral. this steel building company had me interviewed by one lady then another lady named nancy and she said I would have to pay for a packet to be sent via ups, cost 38 dollars then I was to be interviewed by a man named david crab on a certain day with a 10 step questionair. then to be decieded if I would qualify to be a dealer but I first had to pay a fee of 9500 dollars and he was going to contact me the next day with the answer. during our conversation he had instructed me numerous times that a panel of judges would determin if I qualify in a week ???????  how would he give me an answer the next day then? well its a good thing I got suspicious and googled before I gave someone 9500 dollars. they almost convinced me there number is 843 538 4600 and 843 538 6952
