Got the same msg when I checked the # using *67. I've seen a few of these. If you call without blocking your # with *67 you'll most likely get a different recorded other then the "homemade" Out of Service recording. Pretty lame attempt... I hope the boneheads @ the FCC are monitoring this site and going after this slime.
Into the blocked list they go.

Received a call again from 843-710-9764.  I only worry it is part of a Network that collects and verifies information for complete identity theft.  I don't want to sound paranoid but I have experienced other such calls, fraud on bank accounts and now am battling yet another unwanted download to my computer tracking my location.  Yes...I have anti-virus software.

Verizon has a service called "Family Base" which includes being able to block up to 20 numbers which I have filled up so have to start putting dates on them so can delete the oldest entries....I'm going to check into that Google call blocker and some of the suggestions Kathy gave!  Gosh those callers are a royal pain!

Yes it is most likely a scam.  A lot of people have been receiving them.  Ignore them and block their calls.

Get a free medical alert system and $1000 in groceries.  I thought the feds shut theses [***] down.

this phone number dialer is owned by a criminal.  He needs to be assassinated, maybe by burning her/him in oil, and the remains left in the town square for the pigeons to pick over.

Ok...? They're not actual numbers, so it's pointless. Try calling it back, it doesn't exist.

did get a call from this number on my cell more the once.  I did not answer and I am on the do not call list.  I decided to call the # back and it said the # is disconnected? BTW  I called back less then 5 minutes later?  Go figure.  I will report it to the Do not call regerstry and hope they figure

Recorded message on my work phone about a free medical alert system.  Deleted the message.

Got the call too, just trying to get CC info by scamming people into believing they are selling something even though it's not a working number when you call back. Don't fall for this scam.

Just received two back to back calls from this number (843-710-9764), but never answer calls from unknown numbers.  No message was left.  As will ALL such unidentified calls; especially when no message is left, I just added it to my phone's blocked call list.  Simple solution to prevent future interruptions.

they called and i did not answer, as i do not answer numbers from out of state, especially when I don't know anyone in SC. And when I tried to call back got a recording saying the number I reached was not in service.

I received (2) calls from this number today (843-710-9764). Because of numerous phony calls, at least (2) per week, I never answer any call that's outside my area code. Caller left no message. So much for the DO-NOT-CALL registry. I wonder if calls such as this is in order to check if it's a working line and then sell this information to other companies?

rec'd a call from this number, called it back, and it said "not in service at this time"  What the heck?  Rumors say they sell Life Alert or medical alarms.  Don't answer, and block

For the longest time, I had used youmail.com to screen, redirect or completely block calls. Great FREE service (of course, you can pay for upgrades) for blocking or not answering unknown callers.

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago. Didn't answer out-of-state numbers unless they're already in my address book. No message left either. IDSaid the number was from Latta, SC.
