I called my customer service they actually keep logs of when a representative calls you or when a automated call is placed to your account. I had repeatedly been called from this number but customer service for the real Spectrum had no history of any call and my account was current.

- UgghIt is Spectrum payment center. I called the number back. They wanted me to make a payment but I had already done so. The auto system told me I had a balance of "0" and a pending payment for the complete amount owed. So I guess it will keep calling until the "pending" payment is cleared.... that is frustrating....

- BrianCalled me this morning. I answered and a robo voice told me to "continue to hold." I wasn't holding in the first place- hung up. Won't answer again.

- nicholas| 1 replyIt is Spectrum but they call constantly. If I am not mistaken by law they can only leave one message In a 24 hour period...they leave many. I know I pay my account late...I do that as I get paid monthly & I do not get the money by the due date...if anything they are making an extra $7 off me from late charges. They have never had to turn off service or anything...you would think looking at my payment history for the last 15 years they would know when I make my payments. It was not as bad when it was TWC, plus TWC would let me give them info for a payment when I planned to make it & hold the info/payment until I had told them to put it through, which stopped any phone calls. Spectrum is the worst...they have raised prices 4 times since merging with TWC. I called to find out about the new plans they offer...seems their advertised price is higher than what I am paying now. I threatened to change to Dish or another service if they did not at least take the $10 fee for my modem (which Spectrum says is free), they told me they wished me well with my new service. Obviously I was not cancelling service but to lose a long time customer over $10 is ridiculous. As for the calls, they use several different numbers trying to trick you, some are local #'s but the person is obviously not American or in America. Spectrum would be better off lowering their rates than paying someone to make all these annoyance calls.

- nicholas replies to CrystalSadly it is Spectrum...I called the TWC number I had for years & they saw the calls, along with calls from a local #. They start calling 3 days after payment is due, sometimes I have not even gotten the bill. My advice, either do not answer or if you do not want a message, pick up & hang up.
- BigA replies to nicholasYes, you are mistaken. There is no set amount of calls in federal law that covers 3rd party debt collectors, only that they must call from 8 am to 9 pm your time. Note that I said 3rd party debt collectors, something Spectrum is not. They are an original creditor, and unless you happen to live in one of the 5 enlightened states, they are not regulated at all.
- Know what you want replies to TygerkatMaybe her attorney will know who to file the suit against.. who knows maybe there is already lawsuit/ lawsuits filed.. I didn't notice any terminology referencing " magically" filing. Of course they could find out who is calling rather easily so that part of your comment can be easily rectified.
- anonCalls 4 - 5 times a day, sometimes as late as 10pm. Doesn’t leave a message if I do not answer and when I do answer they don’t say anything. Extremely irritating!

- CWhat I find funny is my Spectrum service hasn't worked since we got it and they are quicker to call you when your late on the bill than they are to fix their service can't wait to get away from this company

- MollyThis is Spectrum. Check your bill. My bank sent me a new card a couple months ago, so I called them to update my AutoPay and the person forgot to check a box. They had my card, but it wasn't set to AutoPay, so my bill hadn't been paid for two months. I made them credit my account for late fees since it was their fault and they did, but I have nothing but problems with Spectrum.

- BertrandCalls several times / day. Luckily, doesn't have a phone connected to the Internet Modem. So I only see the prompts on the TV Screen when this number is calling.

- KennethLegitimate Spectrum calls, but they just hang up when answered, even when I can hear people on the line. I called Spectrum and complained and even passed along the info on this website and other Spam reporting websites. Whether anything becomes of it, we'll never know. But it really IS Spectrum.
