I am not sure. I was wondering if theres a way we could all sue them blind for a ton of money. I am sick of these calls!

These are overseas scammers! This law needs to apply to them as well!

I'm so over them calling me I am not contacting my phone company to see if can be blocked.... they don't give a name and when I didn't give them a name she new it already. I informers that I have turned this number and so call comply over to the local authorities she said get my self a lawyer and good luck. I said thank you and hung up I'm so done.

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.

You have to find them first.  Most of the scam callers hide thier true ID.  They may not even be a corporation or LLC.  They may just be a group of scammers working out of someone's house or some rented commercial building.

You are preaching to the choir here.  Unless they decide to cooperate, then its going to continue. They do not have to obey our laws, they are supposed to when they do business here.Some of them have been prosecuted, but only when they have been caught on US soil.
Criminals don't obey laws and a lot of these calls are extortion scams to begin with.

Is the area code staying stable? Sometimes these criminals use the same area code ad nauseam even if the number changes daily. Newer blocking devices have some area code blocking.

Got a call this morning claiming I owe 450.00 from a payday loan in 2011. NOT! She told me I was getting sued. I told them, then do so, and hung up. I have never had a payday loan.

Same here!!  Now they are calling my family which is weird bc I have never used my family as a reference.  It's been over a month I told them give me proof something I have nothing they can't so I said I'll go to court but they still call trying to collect!!!

They won't go to court.  This is just an attempt to scare money out of you.  Ignore and block the calls.

The are calling with a message that is for no one who ever lived here or I recognize, have been doing so for several weeks. I called back once and told them to take me off their list, the lady was very rude and just hung up on me. I've forwarded their number to my state's AG. I've received the same lalls from 844-298-4709,844-234-2994 and 844-298-4701.

I keep getting calls with this and a different number everyday. I reported it to the FCC. Didn't work! They still keep calling! How do I get them off my back?

Yes for me the area code has been staying 844.

I'd block it by the area code then. That's what I've done to the ones that use same area codes! It works well.
