Just got a call and I've been getting calls from the New York area but I don't know who they are. The messege they leave isn't complete. It just says something about a phone number and to press 0 for legal assistance or to know your legal rights. It cuts off. I get this number calling and 347-773-4606. Don't know if this linked.

I've been getting calls from this number twice a day at my job.  They call in the morning and late in the evening.  They give a ID number for when I call back.  The message is " They are trying to collect a debt.  No name or company name just a number.

Called me today and left a message saying that they are handling a claim for me, they left the claim number and said I could call them back at 8442984709.

They called looking for someone that doesn't even live with me. Don't even know who the person is. Thanks for the info on this scam.

I answered the call today and it had the robotic message with a claim number and asked to press a number to talk to someone. When the guy answered he was rude and not even ready to talk to me. When we finally got to the point of the call he said he was a debt collector for a company that I've never heard of. When I told him that he told me that the loan could have been issued threw a payday loan online company but couldn't tell me which one. The guy then continued to tell me if he had a dime for every time someones told him that they never had signed up for the load he'd be... at this point I told him to take me to court and he hung up on me. I decided to call back hoping to get more information so that I can prove that there claims are fraudulent. I obviously know that this is a scam because any legit company looking to resolve a debt offers you the chance to dispute the claim. If your like me just answer and screw with them. Their easily annoyed once they know they wont get any money out of you.

Big trouble here guys. They have been calling me for over a year. They have my full social security number and my exact bank account numbers. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Thank you

Changing your bank account number ASAP would be a start. And keeping a close eye on your credit report as well.

I used to have many payday loans many years ago and ALL were paid at the time but payday loan companies are so low that they sell their old customers info to these Fake debt scammers & I get these type calls ANE emails all day every day many years after being proudly debt free! As annoying as a REAL debt collector is, these fake CRIMINAL ones are 1000 times worse!

These Criminals have been calling me daily despite my request to stop because I know its a scam, what part of "I KNOW ITS A SCAM" do they not get? I call them everyday back & verbally harass them & will continue to do so until their calls to me cease & desist.

I told them, "if you're not trying to scam me then tell me my full social." It was right but they aren't and my credit report doesn't show anything yet. This is such an inconvenience

Continue to get calls from this phone number even though I told them DO NOT CALL ME ANY MORE as I am not the person they are calling.

They have tried calling my family members, recently my oldest son. They called me today, and I told them, that they needed to stop calling me and my family that they are nothing but scammers and that if they need to get a hold of me to get a hold of my lawyer. Told them too that if they didn't stop I would get them for Harrassment.

Yes called them back and was told this was a payday loan from 2011, and they had been sending documents to my old address. I said I will give you my new address and you can resend the docs. They refused to do that and said that I could give them a credit card number for the balance. When I refused without seeing  documents, she told me she would have court papers served to me and would see me in court. I said how when you don't have my address, and she hung up on me. I don't think I owe this and that this is a scam.

Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.  This is most likely an off-shore group operating in the Caribbean.

Got a call from 844-234-2994 - they left VM asking me to call them back.  They can go F#$% themselves!  Why in the heck would I call these scammers back?  Don't waste your time with these sub-human parasites...

I did call them back and got a very rude lady that said I had a payday loan of which I have never had.  The scary part is they had the last 4 digits of my social security card.  She said get a lawyer and hung up.

Received a call from this number twice, first day I didn't pick up, they left no message. Called me again the next day, out of curiosity I answered. Got an automated call, told to press 0 to talk to someone, so I did. Didn't catch the name of the collection agency, cause she was speaking too fast and with a middle eastern accent. Said I didn't pay a loan from 2010 and said they would take legal action in court if I didn't pay a restitution today. Scary part was they had the last four digits of my social, but an old address and past employer. I told her this sounded like "[***]." She got irritated and threatened taking me to court and said "GOOD LUCK" before hanging up.

A woman with a Caribbean accent called my wife's cell phone looking for me,threatening law suit if i did not pay $560 for a payday loan with Cash net back in 2012. She had my personal info.

Calling cell, home, mother, father, husband DAILY. Refuse to provide me an address to dispute and send police report. Refuse fax number. Demandin payment from my elderly parents!! Threatening court action!
