- CWG40 replies to Sick & Tired| 1 replyThey are overseas scammers. Most likely in the Caribbean. Ignore and block the calls. I have been researching this. So far as I can tell they are in either Jamaica or the Island of Nevis. Not certain though. If the call center can be located, the authorities can be notified and procedures undertaken by US authorities.

This is most likely a phony group which I believe is part of the Global Scam out of Jamaica or perhaps the Island of Nevis. Or Nassau in the Bahamas. Clearly an off-shore scamming group.
They also call from many other numbers see: 251-301-9797, 800notes. This is a Jamaican or Nevis or Nassau or Trinidad (I'm pretty sure) offshore group. They also go by the name, Spotlight, Global Service Group, Global Solutions, GDS, GDS Solutions as well as Capital Risk Capital Services, Capital Law, Capital Indemnity solutions, Impact Mediation and Provisional Risk Services. Possibly Piedmont Recovery or some variation. Also ARA, ITS and IPS and NAR. National Recovery, First Recovery, International Processing Solutions, NRA, Northwest Recovery. They may use other CIDs and phony creditors as well. Their signature phrase when you ask them where they are located is to say: "they are in Miami but have 48 locations in the US". Right. Lately they’ve been adding the phrase “except Hawaii and Alaska. Just to show you they now have learned some geography. These people are nothing more than overseas scammers. Ignore these people and block their calls.

My own research suggests that they are the remnants of
CWB Services, LLC. (Cutter Group)
2114 Central Avenue
Kansas City, MO 64110
Sued by the FTC in 2013. Can’t operate in the US, so they used their Jamaican or Nevis subsidiaries to carry on the scam. Which accounts for the US – like scamming operations they engage in.

- Dorothy replies to BoykinThey keep calling my sons house 2-3 times a day not me stating they have a claim against me. I had a call a couple of weeks back I didn't keep the number they knew where I worked in 2012 my home address everything the only thing that was wrong was the bank. They said they deposited money in a bank that does not exist in San Antonio, Tx. Told them I would not pay they said they were going to send my paperwork to the DA to have me arrested. I was going to do an online one but I did not go through with it I am wondering if someone got may information and put in there account. Like I said they had everything but there is not such bank as a matter of fact the bank was in South Dakota.

- QUITCALLINGME! replies to LynnThe sad part about all this is that my low life sister has a habit of taking out loans and not repaying them. Then they all call me trying to track her down because she has left my name as a reference! Makes it hard to distinguish who is actually a legitimate collector and who isn't. That's why I come to this site!

- T ScottI called on 2/1/16 and the woman I spoke to was very rude. Her name was Renee and she said that she called me because I owed a debt from 2012. When I asked her to give me the name of the company, she replied by asking me the last four digits of my social security number. When I refused to verify the number, she continued to ask me the same question. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. She started to get louder when I didn't give her what she wanted. I told her that I would call back to speak with someone else and I hung up.

- ChrystalReceived call, claim #3434430, IPS, International Processing Services; when I called back i gave 5678 as last four (of course false) and tried to get them to tell me what the issue was for. They then tried to get more information and talked over me, so i asked for their business mailing address. They of course yelled at me then hung up. So i continued to call them over and over and over, asking different people for the business address, them got the email address customersupport@intoprocessing.com or customersupport@interprocessing.com (hard to understand the representative). Also got one of the reps to stay on the line for just over 5 minutes. Is there any way fed fraud commission can use that phone info to trace them?

- Colleen HeilmanI called them back as they call me on both work and my cell phone number 3 to 4 times a day on each phone. They say that I owe 500. I never borrowed money in 2012 and I told them that I dispute the claim. I also told them as they continue to call that it is now concidered harassment. They told me that they will continue to call til I get served. Served with what. I don't owe them any money!

- RebeccaReceived a call an "855" number on our house, land line. The message stated they were looking for "Bobi Beck" and my claim # is *********. Thought nothing of it until my husband came home and played the EXCACT same voice mail that he received on his personal cell. What? House and cell....now I'm curious. We called the number they gave in the voice mail, provided the claim number. 1st guy was rude and had a Jamaican accent. Gave me no info on who he was and said they would remove our number. My husband then called back and a woman "garbled voice" said she was with a co. called IPS and it was about an ins. claim. As soon as he stated he was not Bobi Beck....bamb! Hung up on. Both calls had a ton of background noise.....like a call center. Beware. Don't give any personal info to them!!!!

- Bob replies to BoykinSOLUTION TO THESE CALLS:
Ask them to send you documentation, if they refuse, it's a scam since it's considered mail fraud
Ask them to give you their office address, from city to state, tell them you want to clear this up in person and pay any fees. t
Ask them for their full name, company name and real phone number, this is required for telemarketers or debtors.
Ask them if you can record this conversation since you need to allow your lawyer to listen to their demands, they will probably hang up
I have dealt with scammers and debtors, they have 5 days to send you documentation once they call you, (IT'S THE LAW)
You have 45 days to respond to that debt incurred and than they have to respond after that.
ASK FOR DOCUMENTATION TO BE MAILED TO YOU. (THEY HATE THIS)
BE Cool, dont' worry.
most of these calls are from India and are spoofed phone numbers (not real) - JennyI keep getting a call from them and they leave a message for Melissa Bartells and to call back with claim # 3459930. I keep telling them I've had this cell phone for over 13 years and to remove my number. I've never heard of Melissa. Every time they tell me they will remove my number and yet they call every day.

- SarahThese people have called me a few times over the past week. I am ignoring the calls. I am so sick of all these scams. They call my call phone and then call my home phone. I blocked them on my cell phone. I don't want to call them back its just not worth the energy. I won't get anywhere by arguing with these scum bags. If maybe I ignore them they will stop calling...then again probably not. But I won't give them any satisfaction of speaking to me. Eesh these people need to get a life!
