My father called me stating that this company has been calling him for several weeks asking for me, saying that they have a claim against me. I know I don't know anyone any money, so I called the number and did not receive an answer. This is obviously a non legitimate company.

They just called my sister in ohio and i live in california...she wanted me to make payment arrangements over the phone for a payday loan in 2011...which i know i didnt take any in that year...i told her i would not give any info over the phone i need to see proof.  She had a jamaican accent. The company name was ics or mci solutions..the 2nd time i asked her the company name she fumbled with the name...almost like she forgot.  For awhile there i got harrassed by stuff lie this then it stoped for like 6 yrs now its starting again???  Good lord..

They have called my mom and my ex father in law that I know of looking for me under my name from first marriage. I tried calling the number and says not accepting calls right now to leave message. I looked up business can't find it

This company called me claiming that I took out a "pay day" loan in 2012.  I never took out any kind of pay day loan in my life.

They kept calling me to and stating that I owed money from a loan from a Company that I never heard of. I only borrowed money from my credit union so I knew it was a scam ,I know where I borrow money from,then they started calling my husband and telling him about me so I blocked her number every time

I also have gotten calls from this number. They have. Also called  my family.   They leave a claim number and this number to call back.Do not answer this number. I have read. The previous posts and they are a scam. When I called back it just rings.

Asked for my adult son who lives in another state to discuss a claim against him. Definitely a scam.

We have received several calls from this number in the past few days. They ask for a relative that doesn't live here. When I questioned them about a possible unpaid debt, I was told they are not a collection agency, they are a Arbitration Firm and could not go into detail about the situation. I requested to take our number off their list and I was told they did so after putting me on hold for a about 30 seconds.

Been getting calls from 877/410-6651, saying I owe money telling me to call 844/279-7423 to pay.
last year received different calls, then they stopped but now has begun again.

this number is calling looking for my step son, I have read it is a scam and I would like it to quit

My ex mother in law has been getting phone calls 3 times a day for approximately 3 weeks and leaves a claim number.
I called this number and blocked my number before I dialed and I just get a recording saying this is NAT Agency. They call her house number which I have never used or put on any applications in more than 30 years. This has to stop

This number keeps calling my ex husband of over 20 years daily & my daughter daily & myself until I blocked all numbers

On March 28, 2016 ca. 9:30 AM MDT I received a call as recorded on my answering machine, from the CFS agency to call them at 1.855.357.9167 for an important matter concerning issuance of court papers.  I called and spoke with a Mr. Mark Wade (who has a soft southern accent) of CFS who stated that Horizon Opportunities is seeking court legal action to recover a $510.00 loan taken out on May 23, 2013. The loan was from some web based loan company and Horizon Opportunities was going to contact the Eddy County court system to collect the loan.  I never made or accepted a loan  from a web based firm. I asked for a phone number for Horizon to call them but Wade would not give me a valid number. Wade stated that Horizon in a few weeks would contact the courts in Eddy County to issue the papers to collect the basic debt of $ 510.00 plus court and other legal costs for repayment. He then had told me my last four digits of my Social Security number, my house address, and an email address (that was several years out of date). I said I would be contacting a lawyer to represent me in this matter.  I hung up.  I did contact the Carlsbad New Mexico Police Department and spoke with an officer who said that the call was likely a scam.

You nailed it.  Scam it is, and a nasty one.   This is a Debt Scammer.  They want to pay money you can't afford on a debt that does not exist.  Block and ignore.  They will lie, threaten and harass you, and the best way to beat that is to NOT talk to them.  If you owe money to a legal debt collector, you would be notified by US Mail.  Not a phone call, not an e-mail or a fax.  Phone calls, e-emails and faxes are not legal forms of notification.  Still you have talked to them, you can expect more calls, and the lies, the threats will increase.  You will need to be strong and brass this out.

There is no summons, no warrant for your arrest.  No one is on the way to your house or your job to take you to court or jail.

It is a recorded message i have received 10+ times saying this is a call for .... And if I am not .....then hang up. I don't know anyone named.....

This number called today and left a message for an unknown name to us. Then said they received a warrant and want to discuss it before it gets sent to the county clerk. They said they are with Smiths & Associates.

**DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THEM COMING TO YOUR HOME OR WORK, THEY ARE LYING!** They are a total scam! They will not come to you, ever! They can't because what they are saying they are going to do is illegal! There are laws against this Here is a link to see for yourself-http://www.consumerfinance.gov/ and if they did actually have you served,it would have to be with a constable, not a "Uniformed Officer" and he would just stick it in your mailbox or under your door if you were not home- it doesn't have to be in person, and they would also mail you a copy as well 5 days in advance, at least. It's not a criminal case, it would be a civil case lol. Plus your district courthouse would have a record of them filing a claim against you and it's all public record, so you could just call the clerk's office and ask them yourself.

These collection calls are like really bad actors reading from the same terrible script, just different people saying the same thing, pretty much trying to sound legit, but they are not!. Put all firearms and pets away? Really>I actually laughed when they said that! My favorite part though was when they tell you exactly what time they will be there, mine was between 12-2pm (because that is what all process servers do when they are coming to have you arrested, isn't it?) and you Must be present with your 2 IDs, but if you wan't to reschedule this "threatening" visit you can? All you have to do is call them!! Wow!  They are just trying to scare you into calling them back and then once you call them, they know you are on the hook and are going to pay them, that is all!
I started getting calls from them a few months back, but I don't have any outstanding debt so I did my research on them and then I told them off. At the time they called themselves Legal Support Services, but sometimes they would call themselves Civil Litigation Services, but they keep changing their name every time they would call.Hmm.. that's not shady or anything.. I reported this company to my state Attorney General's Office and the BBB. Here is a link if you want to report them too.

I don't owe any money to anyone so I don't know why or how they got my number, but my credit score is almost 800 so I think that may have something to do with it? Maybe they thought they could "scare" me into paying them but they found out that I'm not scared! All I know is this is a total scam! I also found out that they are some kind of a Payday Loan company?  They don't bother me anymore though, now that they know that I know that they are full of it!

Aww, yes it is a huge scam but I actually found this caller quite amusing, especially the part about "keeping all firearms and animals locked up for their safety" lol. Well, if I did have either a firearm or lets say a pitbull for example, I certainly would not lock them up, especially after being threatening over the phone like that! If they actually dared to show up at my house, I would be waiting for them on my front porch, sipping my ice tea just to watch them run away in fear! After all, they did tell me what time they were coming, so I'd be ready!
I guess I can understand why some people might think this is for real, because they do lay it on pretty thick with the legal terminology, but they are just terrible actors in my opinion!  I know a thing or two about the laws in my state, so I knew it was bogus immediately! I don't hear from them anymore though because I told them that what they were doing was not only illegal, but it was also extortion basically AND they were being recorded, which I was going to forward to the AG's office immediately! I wasn't actually recording the call, but they sure did hang up fast and have not called me again since..muahahaha (evil laugh) Try that next time they call and they won't bother you again!
