Much like what others have reported here, I have received numerous calls from this number. When I press 0, as directed, to speak to someone, the line goes dead. When I've tried to call the number back, it's a non-operating telephone number. They tracked down my parents and left a threatening message. Not sure how to stop these calls.

I've received three calls in the last week from this number, asking for my sister.

i'm a branch manager at a company and this number calls me 3-8 times a month - AT THE STORE, sometimes for the same person, sometimes for different people.  i've asked them a dozen times to stop calling this number, that it is a place of business, to remove our number from their systems all together, that none of the people they're calling for are here.  still getting calls.

these people call me every day looking for someone other than me I've tried to tell them but they play dumb  STOP CALLING !!!!!!!

This number has been harassing me and my family for weeks.  They refuse to cease and desist phone contact.  Threaten to serve me at my job for a debt that doesn't exist.  The number them give to call back does not work and most of the time if you press 0 for the operator it hangs up on you or no one answers.

This number has been calling me for weeks and no vm. They even called my siblings. They also used local numbers to call as well (caller ID spoofing ) and an East Indian man left me a vm and to my siblings and says his name is Roger Morgan and there's 3 allegations against me and that they will come to my place of employment to arrest me and everything is filed at the county clerk's office and that have have been informed. Some illegal [***] here. And they didn't mention which county clerk's office.

Yep, my family, old employement place act are being bombarded with calls. Today, they left a detailed message threatening me on the voicemail, which is illegal.

Just block them. It's a poor attempt at a scam.

Keeps calling our house looking for our daughter whom hasn't lived here in over 35 years.  We are elderly and don't want these calls.

Funny thing is that they keep calling me and on my phone it comes up IPS. They say I owe a debt of $590 but honestly I couldn't hear to much of what they were saying, the call constantly kept breaking up...If they are a legit debt collector then they would have some type of website and be able to give you paperwork and information. The fact that they have personal information of me, really worries me..I have made a few complaints to the FTC and haven't heard anything back yet...Will let you know if I do and what they say...My number is on the Do Not Call List as well, but they still call...

Yes, same here the other phone numbers that have called me are 844 279 7422 and 844 295 3973...This is so annoying and I don't own any money to any loan. There is nothing on my credit either and now I have locked it just to make sure...They are calling me, my husband and even my husbands ex-wife? I'm trying to report all of these numbers to any and everyone i can to make sure that this ends and these scams get shut down!!! Any info on who to report these #'s to make them stop would be very appreciated!

I keep getting calls from this number as well. They call and say my father has a claim, I've tried to call back but its an automated message. Hoping this stops soon. They call my family as well.

I received a call from this number tonight but did not call back. I have been receiving harassing calls from similar numbers (844-279-7422, 844-278-8485, etc) and the one time I got a live person they were threatening to serve me papers and arrest me for a debt I do not owe. They would not provide their company information or information regarding the company they say I owe money to. They say it is a debt from 2012, and when I told them I did not take any loans at that time they continued to say the debt could be anywhere from 2008-2012. They would not send anything in writing or give me any further information except to say that they would accept payment over the phone for half of the $790 they say I owe. When I told them I would not provide any information without receiving proof of debt they said I would pay thousands in lawyer fees and would be arrested at my home or work. I ended up hanging up and am in the process of filing complaints with the attorney general against all the numbers j have documented. They have contacted family members as well. I am not sure what else to do to stop these harassing calls. Very frustrated. Nothing has ever been reported on my credit, nor have j ever received anything in writing regarding any debt owed. I know this is a scam but how do I stop them??

Keeps calling and saying I owe 400 dollars willing to settle for less if I give credit card over phone-foreign speaking woman calls-will not email of mail bill or who it is from-cannot call the number back

These people call everyday for someone I am not.  I demanded a supervisor today(you an get an answer if you call several times) to be taken off their list.  They then started to ask my name and I would not go there.  The SUPERVISOR refused to tell me the name of the company.  I callled again and got International PRocessing company in Miami.  I should have the right not to be called by them especially after I have repeatedly told them I am not who they say they are calling.  I want them gone from the planet!

They have called me everyday multiple times a day for weeks.

Started about a week or 2 ago.  They call my work phone, my old bosses phone, and also my ex-wife’s mother (that i have been divorced from for 10 years) in Chicago.  I called them back and actually spoke with someone.  She said they were IPS (International Processing Solutions/Services).  They said I took out a loan in 2012, but the info they provided was from 2004-2006.  I told them I that I think it is a scam and to stop calling all numbers they may have associated me with.  I also told them that they can tell their “client” to take me to court and we could work it out there.  The lady then told me “Good luck in court”.

I am sure they will be calling back again soon.

I too received calls from this number. When I answer, the recording plays saying they are calling about a case, they give the case number but they do not identify themselves. When I hit 0, some weird tone plays. When I called back I either get a busy signal or a message saying the call could not be completed. I believe it is a scam also.

This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  One of the tricks they use is to call your work place repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying.  They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
