Calls and leaves message, answered and no one spoke to me.  Called back and told them that if they called me or any of my family members again the next call would be from my lawyer or the police department.

Took me 4 attempts to call back. The lady stated that a complaint was filed against me by Midland Financial Institution. I started to crack up b/c I work in finance so I left her proceed w/ stating that a check was written that was no good and that I was being pursed. First of all, I have never used Midland. I told her that and she was like I didn't say Midland Bank, I said Financial Instituation. Um same thing. Then she got all snippy saying that I think I know but I don't..  At that point I went off and she hung up. I don't think they will be calling me back any time soon

They have been calling for my daughter. My poor mom thought it was real. I called them back. First a woman answered and I let her have it. When I called right back, a guy answered and a let him have it. Both times they hung up. I will call everyday to be a pain in the ass!! Dumb [***]!

How did you actually get ahold of someone. Because I just get a error message and a full inbox when I try to call back.

Says they are a debt collector. Has my name and last 4 of my social.

Don't let that intimidate you.  Sadly, that info is not especially hard to come by.  A call is NOT legal notice of a debt.  Don't talk to these crooks, they are trying to scare you into paying a debt you do not owe.

Robot caller saying there's a complaint against me, and they're gonna take legal action

Claims that there is a formal complaint against me yet when you call back it goes to a voicemail. I have checked my records and I do not have anything that I owe that could result in a formal complaint. Plus internet searches places this number as a scam.

Same call as most but the voice mail cut off the beginning.  Did hear the name he was calling about, well at least the first name, the last name was unintelligible.  Will report and block.

If you have any information as to the whereabouts of (insert name in robotic voice again), please contact our office immediately at 844-369-3859. Again that number is 844-369-3859. Our next step will be to notify the proper authorities. Thank you."
Used to get these calls alot, but not in the last year. Started again this morning.

When call back the number on the recording course the mailbox is full so I kept Chris and numbers until I get an extension that I can leave a recording on so whoever this is or whoever got the recording hopefully understands I don't want him to call me back

You are wasting your time calling them back.  "Mark Wilson" appears on several boards as a scammer.  He has also made an illegal threat to you (court). IF there really was a complaint, you would have  an UNannounced visit by a licensed process server - not a threatening cold call. IGNORE & block.

Can anyone track down the Voip Provider to this number?  Voip Providers should hold the information for someone to find out who actually paid to use this number.  That's where the trail should start, should any legal enforcement agency like to track these guys down.

It seems their data has been sold to collection agencies that are using the same tactic as Indian call centers fraudulently attempting to collect a debt.
When I asked for their legal registered address, they gave a fraudulent address to the Department of Labor.

got a call from a Mark Doolin - Ext 846 - asking for the where about for my ex husband - says to call back at 844-3693859 - no one answers and no way to leave a message

You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission

Just have to ask but did you try to turn them in the FTC or states attorney
