If they are collection agency and they hang up after you answer and say hello, seems to me that they get credit for calling without having to talk with you.  Sound like a profit scam on their part and bad for the person at home because they can build a stronger case against you saying they called "x" amount of time.

This phone number and agency needs to be reported to whoever handles these fraud type cases.

Hi Miranda, if they are calling your cell number and you have an iPhone, you can turn "do not disturb" on. To do this, swipe up and select the moon icon. To allow calls from friends and family who are in my favorites list, I selected this option in Settings and Do not disturb. You can also choose manual or scheduled for certain times for this setting.

They call a couple of times a day, every day for months. Sometimes a phone number is left, sometimes nothing is left.

Rule of thumb, if you stop picking up the phone they will stop calling. I get all kinds of calls and it's hilarious when I research the numbers.  Student debt? I've been out of college for 30 years. Lowering your credit card debt? I Amex and I pay it off monthly. No one should be calling me regarding any debts.

They prey on the week. They want you to pick up.

Actually, these people are stupider than you think.  They started calling me about 6 months ago regarding a medical bill I know nothing about.  I forwarded their calls to a sex chat line at that time, and they've continued to call 5 or 6 times a day ever since.  My phone never rings but the calls are all reported as "missed" on my account website.  Obviously dumber than a bag of wet hair.

They called, I answered, no one on the other end.

American medical. Called asked for someone. I said I'm not that person. I asked who is calling and from where. They mentioned it and hung up.

Quest is a scam in itself. When I ask to verify total costs of 3 month prior bloodwork and they tell me they aren't able to but then say that the cost for present bloodwork is $250 then that's it. Not have a bill show up later for $4000 and $3500 for a previous. This is price gouging and a scam in itself. Tell people up front what the cost of the bloodwork will be when they ask. Give them an opportunity to make an informed choice like I would have.

This # calls from 6:30 am until midnight everyday at least 5 times a day. They do not leave a message. If I don't know the # I do not answer,  I'm disabled and need my sleep.  I feel it's harassment at this point.

Please take a few minutes to report this number to the "Do Not Call Registry"... It may be the only way to stop them.  Thank you.

Looks like they  start  calling  around tax  season.   The y call  several  times a  day. I  have  now  blocked.

I blocked this number a long time ago.  To date, I have received 113 calls on my cell phone.  If I pick up, they hang up.  If I call from a different number, they say it is a debt collector for a medical company.  I have no outstanding medical bills.

They're zombie collectors.  They manufacture debt or try to collect on debt so antiquated it's not collectible under the law.  Typical bottom feeders.  Ignore them, block them, or forward them.  I've been forwarding their calls to the Hogwart's school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a prank line in South Dakota.  Maybe they'll annoy Voldermort and he'll terminate them.
