Yes, I am all those people and Cynthia R as well.  You see, I'm not really success material and the only job I can get is shilling for a scam debt collector.  We use the illegal tactic of telling people they will be served in order to scare them into giving us money.  They may not owe any debt but we don't care because we bought some debt for which we have NO paperwork.  All we get is a page that gives us a name, an amount, an original loan date and sometimes, a phone number or address.  Mostly, we call people who have similar names.  We've even coerced people into giving us money who aren't acquainted with our target.  You can tell I'm an idiot by reading my post.  I love when I said "....we higher lawyers..!"  Get it?  Higher!  I'm not even educated enough to know the difference between higher and hire.  D'uh!  I don't earn much but what I do get keeps me in pimple cream and doughnuts while I live in my mom's basement.  So give an idiot shill a break and give your money to the next bottom feeding piece of scum that calls.  Maybe I'll get highered  by a better class of maggot next time.

PEOPLE these fools make 7.00 an hour and they get 15% of collections so that why they lie and use scare tactics..when they call you send a certified letter signature return and ask for validation of debt
1..when you open and closed the account
2..all charges and payments made..you have the right to make sure there  is no fraudulent charges and you also have the right to make sure all payments were credited towards the account
3..you want to know how they accure the interest these fools always make a mistake in there favor
4..you want to see the contract with your signature on it
if these fools cant validate then the debt is invalid the law is on your side 100%

also  to the people who wants to pay these low lifes    do not use your personnel check  the banks name and your name and address is on the check  your account and routing number is on the check  all the info they need to debit your account behind your back  tell them you will only pay with money orders if they say they dont accept money orders then you say well when you do accept money orders then call me and hang up...never pay with money cards or western union

most important again if your going to pay these fools you pay what you can afford not what they tell you to pay make sure your rent utility bills are paid you have food in the house before you pay the low lifes..they dont care if your living in the street  your kids are hungry...

No it is not legal.  In fact it violates the federal FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT.

    See item #4 below

    807.  False or misleading representations  [15 USC 1692e]
A debt collector may not use any false, deceptive, or misleading representation or means in connection with the collection of any debt. Without limiting the general application of the foregoing, the following conduct is a violation of this section:

    (1) The false representation or implication that the debt collector is vouched for, bonded by, or affiliated with the United States or any State, including the use of any badge, uniform, or facsimile thereof.

    (2) The false representation of --

    (A) the character, amount, or legal status of any debt; or

    (B) any services rendered or compensation which may be lawfully received by any debt collector for the collection of a debt.

    (3) The false representation or implication that any individual is an attorney or that any communication is from an attorney.

    (4) The representation or implication that nonpayment of any debt will result in the arrest or imprisonment of any person or the seizure, garnishment, attachment, or sale of any property or wages of any person unless such action is lawful and the debt collector or creditor intends to take such action.

    (5) The threat to take any action that cannot legally be taken or that is not intended to be taken.

    (6) The false representation or implication that a sale, referral, or other transfer of any interest in a debt shall cause the consumer to --

    (A) lose any claim or defense to payment of the debt; or

    (B) become subject to any practice prohibited by this title.

    (7) The false representation or implication that the consumer committed any crime or other conduct in order to disgrace the consumer.

Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

Yes, but they have to follow certain legal procedures.   Which is something this group isn't doing, it's relying on phone threats to extort money, basically.

You've written basically a load of nonsense.

But,  the debtor has a right to a proper debt validation letter which is to be sent to him or her by US mail.  E-mail no good.

And of course,  if there's  one thing that  debt scammers WON'T do, it's  send a letter by US mail.

Sounds like a ghost story to me.   Somebody "made" you get paperwork?  Really, did she point a gun at your head and "make" you get paperwork.   You've got to do better than this.

Sure he did.  Sure, you got paperwork.  And since you did, you wouldn't mind tell us the name of the Plaintiff, the date the case was filed and all sorts of other information about the people who "served" you.   You can't object since filed cases are public records.

I have a great idea for all of this paper work these people are allegedly receiving. You can turn in a paper mache project. Just think of all the great art work you can create.
