They threatened me. I am elderly and they forced me to give them my bank information. They stated I would be arrested. I told them I didn't owe what they were asking. They even called my family members. I'm scared

Contact you bank and the police. What they did is extortion and illegal.

I've been getting calls from these people looking for my husband's sister-in-law, today is the first time I actually heard a voice-mail. This guy claims that there was a formal complaint against her and they needed to know her whereabouts before they filed the paperwork with the local County courts. I think next time I'll answer the call and f@$& with him. It will make a great story for my civil litigation class ;-)

My sister and my best friend just received a call from this number but I didn't. Had a feeling it was a scam so I looked it up

Most calls from toll free numbers tend to be scams (spoofed caller id) Block if you can.

Called and threated to file paperwork with the local court if I didn't disclose my whereabouts.   I told them they just violated the Fair Debt Collections and they got beligerant with me and I was reporting them to my attorney general.  Right after that they hung up.  Find it funny that "rea" debt collectors (yes, I have real debt) tend to be on the nicer side (not always) and want to work with you but these jokes just get beligerant.  And yes, I did file a complaint with the Attorney General.

Left voicemail on home phone using my maiden name wanting to know of my whereabouts and said they were making a formal complaint against me. I called back, pressed "0" and was on the line with a female. Said I called regarding the voicemail & she had all my info before me saying anything (assume it was because of my call back #). I asked what CFS stands for and she said "nothing" and quickly stated "if you know the whereabouts of this person have them call us" and hung up. I called back & they sent me to v.mail which was full so I couldn't leave a message.

They keep harassing my 80 year grandmother for my whereabouts. I've called them 4 times and been hung up on. I asked for their address so I can send them a bill because I charge $125 a hour for consultation. I told them I was and in the Army and learned skills to track people down. They really enjoyed our conversations. I told one that I have 3 attorneys in 3 different states. Then he I  said I dont care how many you you have...you are not TRUMP

I missed a call from 844-757-5685 and they left a voicemail saying there was a criminal complained filed against my mother and I needed to call back immediately to tell them her whereabouts. She got the exact same call later. Scams are annoying :T

they called again today and I answered this time. Was connected to a woman saying she was with CFS. After saying I know she was trying to scam us and should give up calling, she hung up.

Just got a message looking for my niece who lives 900 miles away and he stated he was filing a formal complaint about her and then filing in court! Not my problem. Blocked!

Same here.  They told my siblings I was going to jail.  I blocked them and one of my sister's is not talking to me.
Asked them to send paperwork by mail.  No comment for months.

they called me asking about a case with my OLDER SISTER. with her OLDER last name. I called back from a different number, the guy who answered got very rude when I asked who the company was, said, "ma'am I already gave you that information"
I said, "no sir, you didn't. all you said was you're a company that is a mediator for civil cases, not the company name."
"ma'am you're supposed to take a step forward not backwards. are you wasting my time here? why are you calling from a different number?"
"why does it matter? I got a call this morning regarding my older sister and I would like to know who you guys are."

Same here. Told me I had an unpaid payday loan from 2012.  I don't.  Total scam.  Sadly they have my SSN..

Called wanting to know the whereabouts of my sister in-law. I told them they needed to call somebody that was actually related by blood. They then threatened me saying that I was impeeding an investigation and they could bring charges against me. Basically I told them to have fun and to leave me alone. I have already recieved 2 more calls from them....... Annoying. Blocking them now.

Received a phone call with a recording from some official sounding guy saying there was a formal complaint against me.  8447575685.  I stayed on the line and talked to some lady who said I had a pay day loan that has been in collections since 2013.  said the money was deposited into my bank of America account.  I don't have bank of America.  any way she gave me the account number for the b of a account and I just called them and they said there was never an account with that number #114000653.  Anyway. this is a scam and they are calling all my relatives now as well.  Seems like official business but a total joke.  I wish they could be tracked down and prosecuted because im sure some people fall for this crap.
