I've been taken in with the Same Story. I had the Barton's in 2015, and before them the Brewers in 2014. I was completely believing in Michael Dean. I was worried for in the Baltimore riots, With his story of being afraid to go to work during that terrible time.

I have also been a victim of this fraudster - Barton's the buyers, $1172 closing costs and an electronic contract signed and never fulfilled.  I would also join in any arbitration against this criminal.

That number isn't coming up on a web search as a phone number for the Virginia AG, or the Consumer Protection Section. Therefore, I am suggesting that it be removed pending an investigation as to whose number it really is.

This is untrue; not sure why M Kent stated since 2003. His first trip to Winchester was summer of 2014. He never incorporated in Virginia; only had a "location" there.

For assistance, please note that the complaint should be filed now with the Virginia State Attorney's office. Winchester police is for Winchester, and any transactions occurred in Frederick County, which is a different office.

What do you mean by this comment Revenge? He's no longer at 206 Doe Trail; it has been re-rented. He left in October. He closed all his phone numbers. His mail doesn't appear to be forwarded. Where is he hiding in plain sight? I have a state attorney contact who would love to know. Please provide facts. It appears everyone here would like to know.

If you were truly scammed by Michael Dean Kent (some messages on this thread are just stirring the pot), please contact Tim Ortwein, Investigator with the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Division in the Office of the Attorney General at 804-397-0218. Note too that Michael Dean Kent left the rental he occupied in October 2016. He is no longer at 206 Doe Trail, Winchester, VA. He published 844-877-1166 on a BBB site, but it was not the number he was using at the time. He was using 540-877-1166. All of his numbers appear defunct at this time.
