Just had this number on my caller ID yesterday...didn't answer it as I suspected it would be the idiots that call themselves "Credit Services" (who want to lower your interest rates).  SCAM ARTIST!  After they called I hit the number on my phone to call back...sure enough I got the typical "the number you reached is not in service" that is their M.O.  These idiots call from different numbers all the time...like today...386-677-3110 (Florida)...same thing.  I didn't answer and then called the number back..."this number is not in service".  I haven't gotten a call from them in over two months, but previous to that I would get a call about 3-4 times per week.  I never answered it.  They are fishing around for your credit card information.  They are scammers.  I have tried to talk to them before to get my number taken off their call list and they hang up on you, especially if you start to question them.  

In the past I have reported all the numbers that come in to my line to the appropriate agency, and they assured me that they have an investigation underway and are working to put this company out of business, but they admit it is hard to do because they are hard to track.

Caller never leaves a message. Most of the time they say nothing when we answer. Very annoying. We are on the do not call list. Most of the time I don't even bother answering. Sometimes they call 4 or 5 times a day when we are at work.

They called me today.  It is a recorded message something about a credit card balance.  I wonder if they know I DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD.  Hence, I have no balance that I owe.  If I had not been expecting an important call, I was going to scourge a "live someone" because I am on the "Do Not Call" list.

It is a company that won't quit calling me.  They come on with a recorder saying they are calling to lower credit card intrest rate---FRAUD!!!!

How do I get these people to stop calling me?

This company has illegally "spoofed" our home phone number to mask their outgoing calls.  When their victims try to call them back to complain, the call is diverted to our local area code and our private home number if they don't dial 1 first.  We're getting 20-30 calls a day from irate locals who think we've called them.  Verizon won't help us, saying we'll have to change our phone number to stop this madness.  Verizon won't even tell us the phone company in Tallahassee that is assigned this number so we can complain to them.

You have our sympathy!!  The first 7 numbers from the scammer's number is our home phone, in our area code.  Like you, we're getting many calls a day and are helpless, according to Verizon.  We've had this number for 22 years, and Verizon tells us we should change it to stop the madness.  I did find these scammers can be reached at 877-317-6098, but don't use your cell to call or they'll recognize the number and immediately disconnect.  It's worth a try to call them and get info from them.  When that didn't work, I flat out told the young lady she's working for a company acting illegally (which she denied until I told her more).  THEN she hung up on me.  Maybe we should innundate that 877-317-6098 number with calls to jam them up!

1-850-386-1643...these companies know the law. They continue to change their number so that the worthless National Do Not Call List cannot force them to stop. They call for credit card rate reduction, maintenance insurance for your car or several other fraudulent activities. Worst thing is, is that if they are doing this so often, somebody is falling for it.

I've rec'd the same "fix your credit" message from this number and others with 850 area code...Just called FCC so I'll see what happens.....I'll play along next time if I have nothing better to do.

This # keeps calling and leaves recorded message they will lower our credit card interest rates. This is FRAUD. Do not give any info to this number.

I have gotten calls x 6 mos, Alex, Joe, John, Stephanie. I feel a lawsuit is in the making.

This number calls our business but never leaves a message which we will allow but we do screen them out as a "nuisance call".  Whatever they are selling, we are not buying so they don't even get one thin dime from us, they get nothing except to waste their own time, resources and money.  A good way to make a living, being a pest.

These creeps called us at 9:00am. WHY are they even allowed a telephone service with which to hassle people? Surely AT&T or whoever runs the phone company in Florida knows that these people are harassing people and are a scam. WHY is this permitted? Call the National DO NOT CALL Complaint Line at (888) 382-1222 and report these harassers.
