I keep getting calls(recordings) from these folks about lowering my credit card interest. I am on the do not call list, and they are calling my business phone. When I ask them how to get off their list, I was told "You don't" and they hung up.

I have received numerous calls from this phone number and have asked repeatedly to be removed from their list. They called again today, waking up my 5 year old who is very sick and has been vomiting since this morning. When I asked again to be taken off their list, she responded, "No, I'm not going to take you off the list." Then when I became outraged and started losing my temper, she started calling me names and kept reiterating that she was not going to take me off their list. It is bad enough that they repeatedly invade the privacy of my home, but to then start harassing me when I ask to be taken off their list. IT'S OUTRAGEOUS!  

Please, someone tell me how this can be stopped. I have just registered for the DO NOT CALL LINE, but according to some posts, this doesn't help either.

Got a call from 850-386-1643.

A recording offers lowered rates on my credit card.

I don't have credit cards.

No human will come on the phone.

I am on the do not call list.

They still call even though I have punched the button to allow this offer to expire.

LoKi here with another tip for all of you people angry over calls like this. Time is money to these people, your goal is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, I call this "telemarketer rodeo". Go along with the whole spiel ask questions seem genuinely interested and do everything you can to keep them on the phone (my personal best is 9 minutes 43 seconds)

Today I only managed 5 minutes, but I seem to have upset the salesman when it got time to pick an option I started ordering double cheesburgers, he then tried to get vulgar but was drowned out by me laughing and yelling "telemarketer rodeo" in his ear, he ended up hanging up with me still laughing. I promise you, he was madder than any of you at this point, believe me.

Called this phony no-name displayed # back, on a private/secure line, got a "Number-Not-in-Service" message.

They hung up me several times when I said I was on the do not call list each time. They will not talk to you after that. But they still keep calling.

Another in a series of over 200 calls from this company.  Always report them to the Do Not Call List, but since the numbers are always spoofed, not sure it does any good.  I'm going to buy an air horn to blast in their ears when I get a live person.

Then they call and don't say anything.

I asked for a supervior and they hung up on me.

I am starting to surmise that; if you do NOT Answer the call that the call frequency begins to go down - For instance, I Answered a "Credit Card" solicitor to tell them off.  Since I only got a machine, I just hung up, but then, not too long after that I got another "Credit Card" solicitor call (probably, same company; different line) - I usually do NOT ever answer an area code I don't recognize and eventually the calls stop so, I am going back to that policy - I "think" that if they know you'll pick up the phone, they just keep on trying - Half the battle in these kinds of Bad sales is being able to Speak a long as you can to the "sucker" - Makes Cents?? hehe

How did you get this information?   These guys need to be brought down.

1-850-386-1643 has been calling once a day if not more for months now.  I don't answer, and a prerecorded message is recorded on my machine.

No name,but phone #1-850-386-1643, calls everyday, leaves a message that is garbled. Panasonic has a new phone out where you can block up to 20 numbers. I bought it and I think it does work. Have not received a call from this number in a couple days.

talked to FL dept., they suggested you go to www.800helpfla.com, on the left side hit file a complaint, and choose consumer, harassing phone call. They can only do something about phones on FL DNC list, not national DNC.

I did not answer the call, as I don't answer calls without ID from strange places.
