I reported them to the police because they are annoying as hell. My police department has a convenient online form for just this kind of scam. When they called again, I let them know I reported them to the police, and they freaked out and hug up. I don't think they'll call again, but who knows? I suggest anyone else being harassed by them also contact the police.

Got a call from this number.  It is NOT a Microsoft number and is a TOTAL SCAM.  I *67 called them back and I said I must have dialed a wrong number, but he tried to get me to stay on the phone.  That is the first sign of a SCAMMER.  I asked what company he was with and said that they help with MS operating system issues - This is the 2nd sign of a SCAMMER.  Would not identify the company name and tried to keep me on the phone after I said I must have dialed a wrong number.  Eastern Indian dude.  That's the 3rd sign of a SCAMMER in my book.

Got a call from 855-210-3300 telling me he was the support group from Microsoft.  Indian accent.  When I told him he was a scammer, stop calling me and that I am on the do-not-call list, he said he is not selling anything and he can call as many times as he wants.  I hung up.  And then he proceeded to call me six times within 5 minutes.  I told him I was going to call the FBI.  That did not stop him.  Freak.

Caller with the same game as the others noted.  Told me he was from Level 5 Mircosoft support.  Oooh.  I told him I didn't have a Windows computer.  He asked for me by my last name!  I don't have the kind of last name that would be a first name.

Number shows up on caller id as TOLL FREE CALLER.

I called the number back and they answered MicroTech.  "Peter".  Yeah, right.

This number calls me all the time. Told the indian accent man that he got the wrong number numerous times because no one lives here by that name and he wouldn't listen saying he'll cancel our free computer services etc. I hung up and he called again telling me to calm down (The nerve!!!) so I told him in all different form of English phrases that I'm on the do not call list, take me off his call list and curse his ass to hell. If he was in front of me I would beat him with my laptop and stab him with the broken pieces. Piece of [***]!

Same call, same scam - from "the Windows company".  For some reason, rather than hanging up, I felt like returning the favor of wasting their time, so I played along.  Every time they asked if I was in front of my computer, I said I didn't need new windows - mine don't even leak....."computer"...."windows"....."computer"...."windows"....on and on it went......"But I thought you said you were from the windows company"....."My windows are FINE, but my roof might need some work..."  I wish I had the line about rupees.  I may borrow that one next time I receive this scam call.

Received a call from 1-855-210-3300.  Caller ID was '800 Service'.  Earlier as noted above I had a call from them with the call id of Not Available.  Checked 800 Notes and saw it's the MS Windows scam.  'We have received warning from your computer having a virus' - Indian scammers...  No message left.  Already blocked.

This call never had a chance with me. For less than $60 I bought Sentry II Call Blocker. When these Delta Sierras call they get the message my phone is protected and take my number off their list or dial "0" to connect. 99.99% of the calls are robo-calls and can't dial so they disconnect. Then they are automatically entered as Black List and will NEVER get through. Those that enter "0" can be added to the White List or Rejected.
No more running to the phone to see the CID. No more running to the answering machine to listen for a message. It is THE best $59 I've ever spent.
No more calls from political campaigns or charities. No more unsolicited calls that should have stopped with signing up on the National Do Not Call List. I think that was another government lie and they got paid by these telemarketing blood suckers to sell our phone numbers not protect them.
Buy Sentry Call Blocker great product and worth the price.
