Legit, auto call. Often the package clears without any action on your part and then the tracking number no longer works. If you call UPS and give them that number they can look it up.

Be very careful, this number is NOT UPS !!!!!!   They pretended to be UPS.  Everytime I have a package coming in and not sure how they would know about it.   Then, they would call and say I have a package worth of over 100,000 dollars.   However, my package actually only worth several hundreds and the tracking number is always a fake one.  (but sometimes they are able to tell you the correct tracking number of the package that really belongs to you).    Be really careful with these scammers.

Then why are you here? There is no logical reason for you to look up a known phone number.

I called them and first they asked for my name which was a red flag. They ended up hanging up on me because I was not even expecting a package and I refused to give them my name. Then, I called UPS Canada and explained the situation. THIS IS NOT A REAL UPS IDENTITY. Call UPS Canada and confirm the phone number you were given. This is a high level scam. Again, don't call that number, call UPS and have them tell you that number does not belong to them.

I received a call from this exact number, and they were talking about a package from a business I never ordered from, with a tracking number I have no association with. It is a scam. It is weird that it is a scam for some and legit for others, but just make sure that you pick up to double check.

If it really was "legit" then they would not have taken the time to look the number up afterwards.  Shills come here to try to convince people to fall for the scam.
