thay Keep calling me

This # has been calling my cell phone for several weeks now, so I just hit the End button. I used to answer it and nothing was on the other end! What a pain in the neck!

I saw a couple of people here mentioned they answered and the caller mentioned Medicare. My spouse will be 65 in a few weeks (eligible for Medicare) and we are getting calls from this #. However, have not answered any calls from this #. Are others that are receiving these calls, or someone in your household, approaching age 65? Just curious.

Yes approaching 65 and getting at least 3 calls a day from this number. I don't answer it or any other number I don't recognize. Good luck.... they will drive you crazy. And I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST... yeah right... lots of good that does!

Just how do you expect the DNc to sort your calls for you?  Did you provide them with a list of people that you do not wish to accept calls from?  Do you think that the DNC has  a mechanical Blocking machine?   It's a LIST.  Based upon the honor system for legitimate businesses.   Scammers and many callers have no honor,  but the dnc doesn't monitor calls to see which ones do and don't.  You should go to the Do Not Call site,  right now, get the toll free number,  call  and Opt out of the registry.  That way your phone number will be fair game to all of those millions of legitimate businesses who are now NOT calling you because they are honoring your request via the DNC.

This number calls us at least two times a day. We answer & they hang up. We dialed them back once & they were extremely rude. Claimed they do not call & do not market via the phone. Yea right!

They call us at LEAST 3 times every day.!   When you pick up the phone, no one is there. And YES,
someone here is approaching 65.

They've been calling every day for a couple of weeks.  My wife answered once and couldn't understand what the guy was talking about.  He said something about medicare and insurance.  She hung up on him when he wouldn't answer her questions about what company he's calling for; just started his speel over again. She is turning 65.  Today they've called 3 times so far. We're not answering anymore.

when will these horrible telemarketers phone callers be stopped

they keep changing their numbers, as before this # they used 855-228-8577.  who knows what their real number is.  does come through on my caller id as toll free caller.  wish there was some way to stop these telemarketers from calling.

DNC does not work...so I bought one of those aerosol boat horns.  Wait until someone comes on the line with their heavy accent...place horn on mouthpiece and push the button...BWAAAAAA!  Laugh insanely and hang up

I too am about to turn 65 and these people (and soooo many others) call incessantly. We never answer, and are also on the DNC list, but that doesn't seem to stop ANY of these pests.

One way to "fool" the computer. Pick up and say nothing.
A live person calling you would say "Hello?" but the computer will just disconnect the call after a few seconds.

I suspect these may be part of the same scam organization that stuck my number in their auto-dialer nearly a year ago and has been harassing me ever since.  More detail and numbers that have been bombarding me with calls are listed in my posts here:

Am getting these calls two and have 2 people at the 65 age limit and more.

But who knows if they are legit from Medicare and more.

I think the DNC was a list to gather our information to send to all these people as friends who didn't even sign up don't get all these calls and people who have well are bombarded

I am approaching  65 and these cockroaches are calling me 2 or 3 times a day.   I answer the phone, say "hello" multiple times; nothing but silence!   Very rude. Very annoying!   What can be done?

Yep - I turn 65 in a month and have been getting calls from this number for some time. Since I have audio readout of the callers number, my phone systems says "call from toll free" and I just let it go to my voice mail..of course they never leave a message.

My phone company just changed to a VoIP digital system and now I can selectively block incoming numbers....this will be one of the first I program in.

Weird Dogs...I would NEVER do business with anyone who feels they can invade my home with their stupid unrequested phone calls...I wish them the worst fate in life!!!!
