They called and said that they had a warrant out and never told me what for. I never been in trouble and have no police record

When answering the phone, a man begins to talk saying that he did not receive all the information needed for your case.  I actually think he said "case against you."  He then states to press one to connect with someone to give information about your case.  At this point, you realize that it is a recording and not a live person.  He never states who he is, what company or agency he is with or any identifying information.  I pushed one to see what would happen and it did nothing but hang up on me.  When I called back, I got the same male voice on a recording.  He first states that you have reached the fraud department and to leave a message at the tone.  Again, there is no identifying information given at all.  

Left message have not heard from me or my attorney need to hear back before they turn over to the state no references to case number or what case is about

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

This man left a threatening message on my voicemail, with no case# and no name. There was nothing said about the content of any file. Something about not having heard from my attny yet, and turning over the "case" to the state.

I got a call from this person today. They knew my social, old adress and phone number. They also knew which bank I was at. There was a girl on the phone with an English accent as well. The first call went to voicemail and was made by Mr. White. He left a message says that he had not heard from my attorney. I called them back and a girl answered. She said I took out a $300 loan in 2013 which turned into $1800. I was in the hospital most of 2013 and took out no such loan. I asked her to send me documentation, but she refused and said they already sent it and it was too late. She pushed for payment over the phone and said that if I didnt pay I would send a letter to appear in court. I told her she was trying to scam me, and she got very defensive and starting making demands very quickly. I could also hear that she was recording the entire conversation in case I mentioned any important info. Kinda scary because its a person with an English accent and they knew a lot of my information. They could not provide any details on the original debt though.

I have received a call yesterday and today.  It sounds like he is saying for "Derek", but it's not clear (I'm sure intentionally) and says that he hasn't heard back from you and that the case will be turned over to the state, yada, yada, yada and leaves this phone number.  My cell phone shows it as a number from Cambodia.  I tried to call it back, before I realized it where it originated from and it said the number was not in service or something to that effect.  In any case, considering where it's originating from, I am sure this is definitely a scam.  Time to block the number...

I received the same call back.   I called her back and asked for an address.  She gave me some generic address.
I called her back and was "not nice" in my choice of words to her....she got nervous and put me on hold each time.  Irritating...why don't people get a job and do things the right way?

Same as above, told me he was Mr. Wright, he is going through my case record, "I don't show a response from you or your retained attorney.  if you do not respond it will be turned over to the state, u can reach me at 855-234-1309, if i'm not available one of my investigators can take the call."

I got a call and a message was left stating Mr. white  an investigator and to call hime back.   If he wasn't available another litigator could assist me.   I did call back and spoke to a Victoria Wells.   I did not give them my phone number or name and asked that they verify who they are.   They told me litigation services and that they were collecting for Chase.    I have no accounts or have ever had any accounts with Chase.   I asked for another number to verify and she gave me 800-646-7481.   I also asked where they were calling from and I was told New York.   I called the State Attorney General's office.   There is no name and was told to make sure I had the right name of the business and to ask for the business id number.   I called back again and had another female answer the phone, was told again that Mr. White was not available   I again asked her the name of this company and was told this time it was Financial Litigation Services.   When I asked for the business id number I was given the 3rd degree, placed on hold and nobody ever returned.   I hung up and called back to the attorney general's office and filed a fraud complaint.  

Yeah I got the exact same call. Scared me at first because they knew alot of my information. How they got it, I'm not sure. Claimed I owed $300 which had turned into $1200 because of fees from a payday loan company in 2012. I made no such loan from the name they gave in 2012 or any other year. To be sure, I went to the police station and explained what happened. The officer said not to sweat anything. Its a scam. Its nothing legitimate about it, just con artists trying to take what isn't theirs.

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!

I call a call too from a "Mr. White " saying that if I don't reply they are going to submit my case to the state attonery's office. I called back and spoke a woman. She said they have a case against me for Fraud. That I never replied to a noticed they mailed me and when I asked to speak to Mr. White they said he is gone for the day.

Just received the same call, "I'm going over your case and I don't have your retained attorney information or reply back from you"  Please call and talk to me or if I'm not here one of my agents can talk to you"  Says the case will get turned over to the state.  I am in PA.  Unreal.

I just received a call from this number saying was associate representing premier bank.  I don't have an account with premier bank and they said that premier bank was a company that has several unDer them and that i defaulted on a 300 payment in 2012 and has interest onto that I was like I have no card and have not defaulted I told them was a scam and hung up

They have been calling me for three months its a scam

Got a call from that number stating he was Mr. White and he was from the fraud division.  Never stated division of what but said that he had not heard from me or my attorney and needed information before my case was turned over to the state.
