Calls my company phone for my place of business and when I answer professionally they hang up every time.

I Received a call from this company regarding an electric bill from an apartment I lived in ten years ago. I Always pay my bills on time and never owed anything. The fake debt collector tells me I owe $125.00. I laughed and said no bill? Never showed up on my credit history and you expect me to whip out my check book and pay you for something I never owed? Something I never got billed for? And something that never showed up on my credit history? Fishy ain’t it? Blocked! Scam, scam, scam! For what you know they are reopening old accounts and trying to scam people into paying for a debt that doesn’t exist. Beware people!!

That is why the FDCPA exists.  That was also discussed in this thread along with how to handle this.

Called yesterday twice and today twice. No messages. If I don’t know you I don’t answer. Blocked. Annoying. Reading comments found out a debt collector Trans World. So leave me a message if you want to say something!!!!!!!

if 855-245-7098 is from a debt collector ,they dont leave messages & call all the freakin time though

They don't leave messages for various legal reasons and yes, if you don't answer they will keep calling.  Probably the reason that there are several posts in this thread that tell you how to stop the calls.

They calling about a credit card they claim my wife had 21 years ago. Wth . They stopped when i told them im contracted through Homeland Security.

Dont even worry about it. Did same thing to us and i gave them the address where I was at and that I would wait for the police, and they hung up.

855-245-7098 called me on Saturday , and  i understand the comments & complaints this is a debt collector so I guess I understand why they didn't leave a message. their constant calling is annoying. I hope blocking just works.
