Called BOA about a charge I didn't make. They connected me and the rep told me he would need to call me back at phone number they had on file. This is the number that Caller ID showed when he called back form BOA Fraud Dept.

1-855-255-0613 said he was from the fire department. Didn't call back.

No this is a fraud number!!!! You must be a scam artist that works for them. I was at the actual bank babk and called this number its fraud i dont see how you people get away with this bullshizzz

This number is not legit they get your info from your unemployment bank info that they can get and call you asking for info they cant get

This is a fraud number they can get certain information and they call asking for the private info they cant. Usually they ask for last 4 numbers of ss# if there legit

This is a legitimate # for Bank of America Fraud Department. If in doubt, contact the number on the back of your card & ask to speak to the Fraud Department. This came as a text message & while waiting for someone to connect to me, when I called on my land line, Bank of America called my land line.

Shill alert! Come on, do you really expect us to believe you looked up a known phone number when there's no logical reason for you to do so?

This number called with caller ID, “TOLL FREE,” which instantly raised suspicions. They identified themselves with the Bank of America fraud department and said that there had been suspicious activity on my card. OK, so far so good. However then, he started asking personal questions.

The first question was “What state was your drivers license issued from?“ First of all, there is no reason for Bank of America to even know this information. I told him that I don’t give out such personal information to callers that dialed me and…he immediately hung up on me! This is obviously not Bank of America fraud department. They would never hang up on someone. I immediately called the number on the back of my card, and the real BOA fraud department confirmed that they did not call me. They told me that there was a declined charge for Charter Communications around $750.00.  Bank of America went through the last several charges with me, confirmed that there was no other fraudulent charges, then issued a new card to me.

Anyone who says otherwise on this forum that this number is legitimate is part of the scam.

I picked up phone but didn't say anything.  A female said I can't hear you, speak up continually for 5 times.  Then said for me to call the number on back of my Bank of America card.  I have never had a Bank of America card.  They call every day at the same time.

Phishing - claiming to be Venmo fraud. asked for 2fa  (6 digit code) code that they initiated by trying to log into your  account, if you provide code to them, you will give them access to your account
