- tx| 3 repliesThanks, what debt are they referring to? In the pay I have had people call because of pay day loans, I don't have pay day loans, ate they teeing to collect on pay day loans? ?? I have heard that if they call is because of pay day loans, people try to scam cause of pay day loans that don't exist, trying to scam you is this true about this company? ?
- Caller: urg pay day loan maybe? ??
- Gunnar replies to tx| 2 repliesIt's true. They are what's known as "Bogus debt collectors". Personally, I prefer to just call them what they are...FRAUDS!
Be Safe. Be Aware.
Gunnar - JenThey call me and ask for someone else. They leave messages and I always push 0 to talk to someone. When I try to get specifics they refuse to answer. Today I demanded they stop calling and the women I spoke with got really pissy with me and hung up on me. THey always tell me good luck, cuz I"m going to need it, then they slam the phone down. It's annoying as hell but kinda funny how ridiculous they are. Agent Brown, she's a fun one, lol. I keep track of every call and report it. Obviously if so many people are getting the exact calls they are all a scam.

- VinnieDebt Collection Scammers. Report them to FTC. If they make threats they can go to jail.

- Dr. Frankenstein| 2 repliesIf any of you are dumb enough to send these criminals money, you keep them in business. Don't send them any money and they will go bye bye. They are collection scammers collecting for old payday loans, but they have no right to the money. They received the info illegally--the payday loan company told me this. Report them to FTC. Everytime they threaten you with "jail" or "court case" they are commiting debt collection fraud. THEY ARE THE CRIMINALS!!!!
- PokeyYes they are criminals. If fact the people they hire who call you, most have criminal records. Where will an ex-con find work except by joining these fraudsters? Hang up on them. Crooks.
- JUJOHI thought I was the only person getting these calls. They never leave a message, but constantly call back to back. They even called my mom and talked with her. Thanks for the info guys. Now I know its a scam.
- I H8UnknownCallers replies to Brenda-JeanThe BBB can't / won't do anything. If you want to report someone like this, go to FBI.gov and look up how to report scams. They may not be able to do much either but the Feds have the means and the power to do something in case they ever track someone down. The BBB ONLY "scores" businesses based on performance (and monetary "donations" from the business in question).
- JacobIf you send them money by giving them your bank card number, they will likely try to use it in stores to buy stuff. That is what happened to me with the scammer "Hansen Law" debt collector--gave them my card number (foolishly) and late that day received a call from bank that someone tried to buy $1200 in merchandise in a distant city. Don't pay these scammer criminals--it just keeps them in business so they can keep harassing others. PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS--HANG UP & REPORT THEM TO FTC & the police.
- melissakeeps calling my phone over and over again.

- JonThey are criminals. Hang up on them. Report them. DO NOT PAY THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- WeenaWhen they told me they would "serve me" I told them "OK, serve me--see you in court!" That was months ago & nothing happened. Collection fraudsters.
- xanx0st replies to Gunnar| 1 replyGunnar is right on the money. I my wife and I have received similar calls lately from this number and 585-698-1878 claiming they are with Check Systems (trying to imitate the legitimate Chex Systems Inc, presumably) and that my wife defaulted on an internet loan from loans.com in 2011. They will repeat your Social Security Number, bank account number, date of birth, and possibly an employment history at you to intimidate you and make you second-guess yourself. They will threaten you with civil and criminal action unless you pay them over the phone immediately. THESE GUYS ARE A SCAM! DO NOT PAY THEM! Visit www.ftc.gov and your state Attorney General's office to find out more about your rights as a consumer and to file an official complaint.
- JoeI get phone calls everyday from these people, I never talk to them I have them on voicemail only, they are scammers, like 98 percent of these phone calls are, ignore them, they're useless and a waste of our time.
- Caller: litigation
- Call type: Debt collector
- Joe replies to txPlease don't be scared of these people, they are scammers and frauds ignore them like you would a thief, that is what they are.
- Gunnar replies to xanx0stActually my statement wasn't just based on an assumption. I'm right on the money because Check Systems has earned my focused attention. They portray every trait that I utterly despise in a domestic fraud shop. They are scum in its purest form.
If anyone gets a call from Check Systems I encourage them to do a little "sleuthing". Google them. Search court records in NY state. The deeper you dig the more foul the smell of these charlatans becomes.
A lot of people read fiction for entertainment. If they'd take the time to read about western NY fraud shops, they'd realize that they're missing a whole other genre. Truth is often more entertaining than fiction. In cases like Check Systems the truth can also be nauseating as hell!
Live Well.
Gunnar
