This number called and asked for my 14 year old and there isn't anything in her name except a magazine subscription that her grandmother gifted to her.

They call 3 x daily. Never leaves a message

Constantly calling

They have been calling me and I don't owe anyone any money. I paid my bill months ago and even sent them proof. I am so glad I missed the call.

Calls my sons phone repeatedly even after being told that the number they are calling belongs to a child under the age of 18 and that he is NOT Carlos!!!!

Get calls everyday up to give a day now I never answer I sleep during the day

These people continue to call and will not identify themselves. I asked them to stop calling and they did not~

Called me twice. I never answer when I don't know who it is. So I called back with a *67 block, and a guy with an accent from India named Philip answered with a corporate name. Clearly a collector. [***] em. Send me a letter.

iphone absolutely has call blocking duh!

On iPhone.....just click the area beside the number, it'll bring up where you can enter info about the number. Go to the bottom and hit the block caller button.

They started calling incessantly a few days ago. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers,so I looked them up in google. Sound like scammers. If I were to have debts or owe anyone money, I would only respond to a letter from an actual business, not a call from someone who garbles my name and cannot be bothered to give a business name or leave a message.
I have also gotten calls from people telling me my computer is in very bad shape. I generally tell them I want my computer to be in bad shape. They hesitate, and I hang up. Stop wasting everyones time.

i had the same issue and they never billed me anything he called me again today and i told him i wont be making a payment unless i get something in the mail he got all upset was very unprofessional i think its a scam!!!

Yes my wife received a call from Cambodia at the [***] crack of dawn today, if it's a bill collector that's fine, we'll just ignore them like all the others...

I called AMCA per the previous message, and they told me that this is NOT one of their phone numbers. I told them that a fraudsters may be using their company to get information from others. The manager is currently looking into this. Please be careful, even if you have worked with AMCA before. Report to FCC.gov.

I have been ignoring these calls since the first time it came up on my phone because I didn't know who it was & honestly didn't care who it was if they didn't leave a message. Today, they called & my husband answered. They asked for my first name (which I don't use) with my previous marriage as a last name & he told them I was unavailable at the time. When he asked who they were & what they were calling about, they refused to give them any information & hung up. He called them back & asked again & all they said was that they had a document for me but refused to say anything else because he was not authorized to talk to them. I got on the phone & said that I authorize him then put it on speaker phone. At that time, I informed him that the call was being recorded. They asked what my address was then listed a previous address from 4 years ago...in which I didn't confirm or deny because they kept refusing to say what the "document" was regarding. I said that I refused to talk any further until they explained. They then said that it was from LabCorp & when I asked for the date of service, they indeed have the correct information & up until that time, I'd completely forgotten about it because it was from 3 years ago. I told him that I will pay the doctor or LabCorp directly & he started talking over me & getting rude. I then stated very plainly that I will NOT deal with them now or at anytime in the future & not to call me anymore. He started trying to talk over me so I hung up. My husband called them back to tell them not to call this number again because he pays the phone bill & he will refuse to allow them to keep calling because it was in reference to something that happened before we got married & they have no business to be calling this number. At this time, I told my husband to inform them that if they call again & attempt to handle the situation in any kind of manner the way that they did today, the next call concerning this matter will be from our attorney. At this time, they haven't called back, but we shall see. What the ironic thing about all of this is that had they not started out being rude & evasive (which I don't know about y'all, but that sends up an immediate red flag for me), I would have worked with them to get the situation resolved...but, I will NOT be treated that way by anyone, must less somebody like that. Since I have now been reminded of the bill that I owe to LabCorp, I will be paying the money directly to THEM...period. My original debt is to LabCorp so they can sort out all the financial details between themselves because I don't owe the debt collector a dime...if for some reason I may be mistaken about this, then I really don't care because I signed a document stating that I will pay LabCorp not AMCA or anyone else. I understand that these people are doing their job & I don't have a problem with that...my problem is the way that they attempted to strong arm me into doing what they insisted, when instead they would have gotten a lot more cooperation from me by just simply being a little more professional from the get go. Anyway, I'm getting down off of my soapbox. I hope all of your problems with these particular kind of situations get resolved without any of these incidents occurring like this.
