This is a scam they say they r Michael an Michael law.

I received the same call! How did you know it was a scam?

I received a call from a Mrs.Ellis stating that she was from Michael Michael greene associates and that i owed some type of debt she never gave me an amount and if i did nt pay it i would owe $3000m She also called my sister whom only had that number for a month stating i had a warrant for my arrest and i needed to contact them asap to solve this matter. However i dont remember this loan but they scared me with being arrested. I payed them 50 that day and they took $162 from my account!!!! Please help me. Who are these ppl?

"These people" are scamming frauds. They've been heard of here before. They are of absolutely zero concern. You can NOT be arrested for debt. Debt is a civil matter, not criminal.
"Mrs. Ellis" is using some of the oldest intimidation tactics known in the fraudulent debt collection industry. The scum will call friends, family & employment places first, in the hopes of embarrassing you & "softening" you up. They will use threats of arrest & lawsuits. "Mrs. Ellis" is nothing more than a lowly paid clown working for a Junk Debt Buyer (JDB). She is attempting to collect an invalid, time-barred or purely imaginary debt. She knows that her claims are bogus or the debt is uncollectable. Which is why she has to use more "creative" & illegal ploys in the hopes of scamming her commission. It's also possible that she is nothing but an ordinary, outright thief. Either way, "Mrs. Ellis" is a criminal.
Close your accounts. Open new ones. Change all of your pin numbers. Make a complaint to the FTC & your states Attorney Generals office. Watch your credit reports. Alert all of your acquaintances, your family members, your co-workers & your employer as to the ploys being used by the vermin out there who have to steal to survive. Know your rights under the FDCPA. It's not difficult, just Google it. Look up the Statutes of Limitations in regard to debts in your state. Again, just Google it. Once you're aware of the ways these frauds operate, you'll never be scammed by them again.
NEVER pay an unverified debt collector a dime. DEMAND a notice of validation by mail. NOT e-mail or fax. As per federal regulation. DEMAND an actual physical address. NOT a Box number. DEMAND a valid return phone number. VERIFY EVERYTHING!

Thank you so much. Just got off the phone with my bank. They will not get another dime from me. I cant believe these people stealing money!!!!! They will definately get whats coming to them. Its a shame

This company only lists a Post Office Box in North Carolina as a mailing and business address.  The BBB page and the Bizpedia page both agree on the information provided.  I have a hard time understanding the A- listing on the BBB page though.

It should be noted that the company website comes up blank when I go to it, so there might be a problem if you use Internet Explorer due to the fact the IE just loves to suck in everything off the page you are viewing and could possibly entertain a virus or worse on your computer.
The Post office is supposed to get ID when opening a PO Box, and this is information can be obtained from them I believe (not 100% sure on that).

The BBB rating is actually very easily understood. The Better Business Bureau is a private entity. You pay them, make perfunctory replies to any inquiries, you're good to go. Basically, they can be "bought". No one knows that better than the shady operators who operate exclusively from P.O. boxes. The BBB has been recognized for a very long time as a farce. The only "better business" they're concerned about is their own.
The USPS does require ID when obtaining a P.O. box. I'm not familiar with the procedure to identify the actual holder of a P.O. box. I've never tried to do so. I'm not going to bother finding out because of this bunch. They're obvious frauds. Actually, I'd be surprised if they have a USPS box. I think that these clowns are more of the UPS store type. I might be wrong. "Michael, Michael & Green" aren't worth a lot of effort. They're just another bunch of predatory "wanna-bes" operating out of the Charlotte area. They're getting as "twitchy" over there as the Atlanta fraudsters are. They're finding that their dreams of "life in the fast lane" are leading them into rest areas with bad plumbing.

my bank has cancelled my card and did a fraud claim. However i have to wait a few days before i can get my money back.

Thanks for sharing your experience with consumers here.  Any chance you had gotten an address for these vermins or any chance you would be kind enough to share the name of the company they used to process your payment?

Reason I ask, several folks (especially me) have taken a keen interest in the scammers in the Charlotte NC area and would love to shut them down.  A few outfits are now on the radar of law enforcement as I type, and with a bit more intel, I could see MMG being added to this list.

...off topic, but related:  Concerning fraudulent debt collectors in Charlotte, you must be familiar with
P-M-A-B there.  They have been calling my mother's phone weekly for four years, leaving a friendly message to call them back because they're attempting to collect a debt.  They don't say who they're looking for.  Mom owes no money.  She has not called them back.  They've never sent anything in the mail.

ShillKill, are you aware of any fraudulent activities by this particular agency or do you have an opinion of them?  We think they are trying to claim 'debt' on medical charges that were written-off by the insurance company or the original provider.

Yes they said from Charlotte North Carolina. And its crazy that ive read another site with different numbers from these frauds. Also stories identical to mine....if you dont pay $700 today then you'll be sued for $3000 and all the ish about a bench wArrent

I'm not familiar with that acronym or name.  What exactly does P-M-A-B stand for?  And also, for what is it worth, the BBB is Charlotte is fairly decent with records as far as that goes so I would check with them
