Got a call from this number but didn't pick up.

Got the call the morning...no message, called number back, verizon calling for feedback about a recent order.

Verizon called to confirm an order I had placed.

voicemail was truncated. First part seemed to say "if you want to be removed from this list press 9" Then it went on to say "If you want your business placed at the top of all major search engines press 1"

I had just called Verizon to complain about receiving 20 (!!!) calls from them within just over an hour the night before....

When I answered there was no reply

I had just called Verizon with billing issues

Just rescheduled an installation with Verizon. (Looks like that's the culprit acording to these other posts)
When I answered there was no reply and it hung up on me.

I have also called Verizon just few minutes ago with billing question.

It's Verizon

It's an automated quality-assurance call from Verizon. About 10 minutes before this number called, I had just called Verizon customer service. I did not answer this number as I did not recognize and it and it did not leave a message. After Googling the number and seeing it was Verizon, I called it back and got an automated response that did identify itself as Verizon and that no further action was required on my part.

Legit call from Verizon, following up on a service call which had been completed - and the technician had told me that they would call to see if everything was working as promised.

May not be legit. I got this call, automated ann said customer follow up. I have no account with Verizon.  Sometimes they get lucky and hit a Verizon customer.

Verizon customer service survey. They called after I got off the phone with a rep.

this number is VERIZON trying to to do survey work. I just quit them and transfered my number with magic-jack. they are calling to get me back as a customer!!!!!!not at their rates.

Scofflaw telemarketers with bogus caller id's bombard us, but Verizon itself isn't bright enough to include their name in caller id?

Just got off the phone with Verizon and got a call from this number. Hung up within 10 seconds of not hearing anyone say anything on the other end of the line.

dnt no who called me from this number but im on the do not call list so i wish they would stop harassing me .

I just called Verizon. This number called me back 10 minutes later.

Caller ID was "VERIZON SURV."  This was fifteen minutes after we called their customer service.  Presumed survey.

After I picked up, there was a 5 sec. pause, then "Hello! This is Verizon calling with an automated customer survey."  I cancelled my Verizon internet service last month, so it's a little out of the blue.
