Please stop the calls.  My son does not want the service.

call is from Sirus XM, they have been calling me constantly and also mailing me offers to sign up since I bought my new car, I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling me.

Call the number back, press 3, tell them to put you on their do not call list. They will update it in their system, and it takes about 5 business days to stop the calls. They ask why, just tell them you shouldn't have to answer that question again. Plain and simple and takes maybe two minutes of your time.

You do have to verify your name and mailing address. This is standard procedure for any company you have an account with. Would you want someone calling and making changes to your cell phone plan or cable service without you knowing? No, you wouldn't. It could result in higher charges or cancellation of service without your consent.

If you have a trial, yes, you do have an account. When you purchase a car, new or used, they tell you it has a trial subscription to SiriusXM. It's in your paperwork as well.

No one on this site can make anyone stop calling you.

You can refuse the trial subscription.  Even if you do, the dealership lets Sirius know, and because of the paperwork involved, you phone number is included.  As for calling them or any company, you are not guaranteed that they will stop calling you.  How do I know this?  Because I did exactly what you are telling others to do and the calls did NOT stop and have been going on for over a year.

I got a New Car back in March and it came with a "Free Trial Period" for their Service.  I immediately called them the very next day and told them I was not interested and didn't bother with the "Free Trial Period" at all. They call continuously from various Phone Numbers and send Letters in the Mail.  I can only assume that they are getting desperate for business. Just ignore them folks!!!

By the way, if you are on THE DO NOT CALL LIST, it is utterly worthless!!!  You can Sign Up everyday and it doesn't make any difference at all...  95% of the Calls I get on my Landline and Cell Phone and even FAX Machine are nothing but Telemarketers ignoring the Law and/or Scammers of some sort (most of which can barely speak English properly)!!!  This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!

I blocked the number in Google Voice and the message says number is diconnected, yet they keep calling!  Guess they like recorded messages.

Missed call, no message left, checked here, blocked call.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  I would never do business with SiriusXM or anyone who makes unsolicited phone calls.

Ah, that explains some things. The buyer has a direct relationship with the dealer, but not the vehicle manufacturer and certainly not affiliate partners or vendors of that mfr. Therefore, Sirius has no legal room to cold call people without at least a sneaky clause in a sales agreement which grants prior consent, and even that would be subject to court challenge if its disclosure is weak.

Yes, I'm sure the Sirius general counsel will grant your anonymous threat in a publicly seen message board all six seconds of due consideration if he ever accidentally finds it here.

I received call from this number and numerous local numbers that are Sirius.  I never answer their calls so you would think they would stop calling.  The letters they mail are immediately shredded.
