A call came on my land line and my cell. The caller wanted me to get a message to my son who had an outstanding bill of $2000. with Dallas Regional Hospital. A call and email went to my son on his cell and to his work email  He’s never been to this facility. I have been. It’s now a Baylor Hospital branch.
The message said he would have charges pending against him in Collin Co. where he lives.
A while back, someone hacked/stole my contact list on FB. That scam was obvious. This one seemed very sophisticated as they provided a business website: https://www.austindaltonandassociates.com/contact
After looking at this site, the address is a strip mall in Riverside, CA. Some areas are empty. But the # given to call is a # from that area.

These scammers were threatening to visit my son’s office to get him to sign papers.

We have called their bluff. I called and spoke to a man who asked for the case #. Then a woman took the line to explain saying she couldn’t give me information without my son’s consent.
    I hung up.
I doubt they will bother calling again, but my son was freaked out as he’d never dealt with a scam like this before. But after doing some checking with addresses and phone #s he’s called, he’s convinced now it was a scam. But others might be roped into the scam.

Same story about having some dispatch trying to get my wife's signature. Supposedly they failed to get the signature so charges will be filed against my wife. The problem is, she's not my wife and they used my friend's maiden name. I called her up and apparently the same exact recording was sent to other friends and family. How cool is that?

Called left a message on vm saying a creditor was filing a civil suit against me. I asked them if they could forward any documents they say were sent to my home. Franklin Parker said he didn't know if he could get some type of document soon or not. Gave him my email, we will see what happens next.

These people are relentless.  I received a call that a law firm wanted me to call them with a case#.  First of all, if you were being taken to court, a letter would be sent followed by court documents.  Furthermore, why would a law firm utilize an outside company to get in touch with you, NONSENSE!!!!

The same thing happened to me today. When I told them that I actually worked in the same court they alleged a civil complaint against me, he changed his story about "my court date" and was in a hurry to get off the phone.  I asked about discovery, or any info on the complaint and he said that I needed to go to court for that. He wanted me to verify my date of birth and SS#. Ummm nope! Scam!

I'm getting called by this "Austin, Dalton and Associates" from 866-366-5990 saying I had a Civil Complaint filed against me for unpaid medical bills over $1,000. Surely this is the same people with a different number...? I was to return their call to the number above and reference Case # NCXXXXXX. I did call and the first person who answered was very rude because I wouldn't give him my name. He transferred me to a "Chris Banks". I told him I wasn't aware of any bills and asked for information on where the bills were from. They could not tell me but said that their firm was contracted by the debt collectors and I could see who they were on my credit report. I told him I would look in to it and call him back. He said he would put the file on hold for 24 hours. I called him back the next day and told him that I could not find anything where I owed anything. I asked him if they could provide any documents showing this debt was owed. He asked me if I had looked at my credit report and I told him no. I asked him if he could provide me with a copy of the credit report he had that supposedly showed these debtors listed. He said he would have to get permission and to call him back in an hour. I then asked him who I would need to pay this money too to clear the alledged debt and he obviously said to them.
I can't find any info on this company that would lead me to believe that they are legit other than this website, which IMO, leaves a lot of information to be desired. https://www.austindaltonandassociates.com .  They sure sound legit on the phone but I'm sure thinking it's a scam. Regardless, they aren't getting any $$$ from me without providing something legitimate that says it's owed.

They called me yesterday from a "private number"claiming to be a process server,  asking what time I would like for them to serve me, by that point I knew they were a scam but played a bit, she gave me a phone number and forgot to make the appointment.  I called and he got upset with my attitude and hung up, my heart was broken,  so I called them back a few times, lol.

I got a call from a restricted number, which I do not normally answer. I was told some documents were sent to my address but no one was there to sign. Would I be available later today? I asked who they were from, "Austin, Dalton & Asso" was the ladies reply. She asked if I knew I was getting papers? I replied, no. She said that is highly unusual and told me to call 1-855-415-9798 with a reference number. They had my name and correct address. After several minutes on hold, the man told me to expect documents later today, I asked from whom. He said Health Management Associates for unpaid medical bills from 05/2015. I said that is curious as I never heard of them. He hung up.

I got a call from this place saying I owed a debt and I should call them back, so I did. They had some legal creditor they said I owed a debt to, but looking it up (Jefferson Capital) it is a firm that buys OLD debt well out of statute of limitations. Told me they sent a letter 3/5/19 (never got anything) and would serve me with a legal notice this Saturday (let's see). They purposely say the name of their firm all jumbled, but it is Austin, Dalton, and Associates. They called me stupid, that I didn't know what I was talking about, that they were trying to help me blah blah but would not tell me anything about the file. I called back & asked for their address and they told me "why are you calling--stop harassing us." Yeah ok. They did have all my personal info but they had said my name wrong on their voicemail. BTW they don't accept calls from private numbers so if you use your cell, don't know if they harass you on that # once they have it (we will see). YES AND THEY WILL HANG UP ON YOU. I do have identity theft coverage, so am going to look that up right about now...
