They just called my cell and I don’t have AT&T  I did not answer looked up number and blocked it.

This number is a scam!!! They have given my personal cell number for people to contact me to connect their cable services. Have reported, but still calling. SCAMMER!!!

Answered the call today without speaking.  Usually with a legitimate phone call they will either speak ("hello", "is someone there?"), or they will call back.  After several seconds with this call, they hung up and didn't call back.  This is typical for scammers.  Their automated system is waiting for a live response before picking up the line.

That said, I found this website when searching the phone number.  I see AT&T mentioned a lot.  Since we had a 30 hour outage on our AT&T Internet/Uverse service the middle of this past week, it is possible AT&T was calling to get our feedback.  We also responded rather unkindly to their text message questionnaire a couple of days ago, which might have been another trigger to get them to call us.

It's very possible the earlier comment may be right.  This *could* be a legitimate AT&T number, but it could also be scammers emulating the phone number.  It's very frustrating that scammers can't be controlled.

This number called me yesterday. They left a message, about covid, which was an obvious recording as the sound quality changed as if someone was holding a phone to a speaker. Definitely a scam do not give any info to them!

They call several times a day... 😡.... sometimes 3 to 4 times

Call showed ATT although it not in my contact list.    No message left.  No apparent reason for the call.

We got an unwanted call from 1-855-419-7365. They left no message.

I think this number is a scam call. I am an AT&T customer, but I don't use Direct TV, only Internet DSL service and a landline phone. The scam number has called me multiple times a day for the past few days. In the meantime I got a letter from the real AT&T offering to switch my Internet service to fiber optics. The number given in their letter was 877-377-3055, so that is the only number I would trust.

Robocall recording claiming to be from AT&T  'survey request'  stating that "this is AT&T calling from phone number 1-800-288-2020" but but call id says 855-419-7365.

I got a call from that number & ID of AT&T. I had my doubts, so I didn't answer. There was No Voicemail left. That makes me suspicious! I'm on Auto-pay, & have No AT&T problems. I goggled the number & it put me here.

Update: I called the 855 number. The AT&T automated voice & music answered. It asked me if I was calling about my --- --- ---- number? I didn't stay on the line, I hung up. It probably is legit, unless the Scammers are recording AT&T, & inserting the Logo.   What Bothers me, is them Not leaving a voicemail!

This AT&T number 855-419-7365 called my business (Law Firm) 4xs TODAY.  I didn't answer no did they leave a message.   I figure if I continue to ignore their calls they'll either stop calling or leave any important mssg. intended.

I spoke with AT&T and verified that it's a scammer and not a legitimate call. They call AT&T customers and tell them their service is going to be discontinued if they don't pay today. So, be careful out there.

left message stating they wanted to "trouble shoot" my issues and to call back @ another number. I do not have AT&T on ANY devices

Person from number keeps calling and even left voice mail....stating sorry for my loss.  (don't have a loss).  Then says to return Universal Router by Oct 28th or I'll receive a $150 penalty.  First of all, I don't have an account so knew right away they were scammers.

Caller ID says "AT T", but, when AT&T calls me, the ID always "AT&T" instead of a space between the two t's, and AT&T always leaves a message. This caller hung up when the answering machine kicked in.

Calls Many times but doesn't leave a message. When I called them back, the message said AT&T.

It's not legitimate.  It's a scammer claiming your AT&T card payment is late and redirecting you to call a bogus AT&T number to pay your bill.
