This was AT&T U-verse tech support calling after my phone service went down and we got disconnected

Then why would you come to a phone number look-up site?

Phone indicated scam likely, but I answered it and it was at&t returning a call to give me a service ticket number. They wanted my address and phone number, which they had called me on. No service person showed up, so I will call the 800 number tomorrow and see if they recognize the service ticket number.

do you answer calla with only the phone number as the ID????

I don't answer any calls from numbers not in my address book. If they don't leave a message, I know it's not important and block the number.

I do not believe this is a legit caller.  They’ve called me twice today (less than an hour apart) and once yesterday, no message was left after 3 calls.  If it was legit, they would leave a message, especially if it’s so important to call 3 times.  I’ve blocked the number, but I have no doubt they will try again, they always do.  Caller ID says Toll Free Call.

It's legit. It is an at&t service technician's phone number. He is a super nice guy, thorough, diligent, aims to keep his customers informed. If he is working on an issue for you, you are fortunate.

It's a call from AT&T concerning a directv account if you have one.

They've called me twice. If it's AT&T then they have the wrong number because I don't have AT&T. They should leave a voice mail if it's a legit call.

ATT / Directv confirming an appointment for install

I know it’s an AT&T automated call, and I do have their service but I’m not the actual account holder so I’m not sure why they’re spamming me with phone calls

Stated that they were calling from AT&T, about my bill which is not due. I spoke with AT&T. They said that the account number that the caller gave didn’t exist, and they were a scammer. AT&T texted me a link to report this caller.

Got a call from this number my phone was fine my TV was fine there was no reason for this number to call me even if it was AT&T it was just a sales call so sick of this

I agree with you just because they say they're AT&T doesn't mean they really are

The automative caller, said it was from AT&T. I returned the call and it asked me several questions. But after asking for a representative, I got hung up on. I do have a AT&T Direct TV account, but with all calls in or out, the call always has the AT&T logo music, this call did not. Not sure if it is a joke or a scam, but I do not believe it is legitimate.

The person calls basically everyday.

AT&T call scam. they call me several times a day. I answered the 1st time they called. recording saying my account was past due and to call another # with credit card info to pay the bill up to date. I had just paid the bill a few days prior. I hung up and called at&t directly. They looked at my account and said my next bill isn't due until April.

Automated call- said my bill was past due. I lost a debit card recently so I thought maybe I hadn’t updated payment info.
