i charged  $50 but i never heard about this company. this is fraud.

Unexplained $20 charge on my credit card.  Came up as WPY AUDIT BLACK BOX VO 855 469 3729 CA.  Disputed.

Thank you Cindy! I too was worried about this charge on my bill and was wracking my brain to remember what I did on that date 2 months ago. So big "thank you" for you commenting that it is from GoFundMe. That reminded me I did donate on that date whew! Big relief. I was ready to cancel my credit card, it is true if they said it was GoFundMe on Bill then it would be easier to determine what it was.

This is a total scam!!!!

After reading this blog- I recalled donating for a little league team in Rhode Island on Go Fund Me, but the charge was listed to Cal Ripken World. A local women was identified as initiating the Go Fund Me campaign, and it didn't immediately appear on my credit card charges. I'm still uneasy about it and have had my credit card reissued.

We got an $80 charge from them this week. Called the bank- it's a scam! Someone stole our CC info and this was one of the charges! Be careful!!

I just spent a lot of time investigating an unknown charge on my credit card.  This is a payment portal. If you look up wepay.com/chargeinfo it will ask you your email address and last four of your credit card. Immediately the identification of the charge was sent to my email address so mystery solved!

I did not get a call. But when I saw my credit bill, I was worried...until I remembered donating twice: both in the EXACT amounts on my bill. It IS legitimate. :)

$10 unauthorized charge to donate to March of Dimes.  It was on a credit card statement that I only use for gasoline, so I know it is a fraudulent charge.  Will be disputing.

I was worried and remembered that I donated to a GO FUND ME. The person that I made the donation to acknowledged it so I'm sure they received the donation. Not a scam for me, thank goodness!

I too wondered what a billing for $50 with this phone number referenced was doing on my credit card account. Eventually it dawned on me that I had made a donation for that amount to a neighbor's daughter's sorority fundraiser for suicide prevention. However, I was not called, it was an emailed request and carried out online. NOT a scam

In my case it was a go fund me charge for a church that was vandalized in Denver. I had a little trouble figuring this out until I read your posts. Thanks.

This was in the label on my credit card statement for a GoFundMe I donated to.

$2,600+ Catering Charge?  I have never used a caterer nor donated to anything with my CC.  Disputed with CC company.

This is gofundme. First, the charge will show in your account as GFM. After the charge is processed, this will be what you see.

They did not call me, but I saw the number on my bank statement and questioned whether I authorized or not.
