Hard to identify but finally reconciled with a "Go Fund Me" request that was legitimate.  I wish it just said Go Fund Me on the statement..

This number deposited $30 into my account. After freaking out, then doing a little investigating, I realized I had made a $30 donation a long time ago to a friend's GoFundMe campaign. I guess they never collected the fund, and this was a refund of my donation.

On my credit card statement it listed "WPYSnoops snake bite exp 855-469-3729". Thanks to other posts on this site I finally realized it was from a GoFundMe donation I had made. This billing procedure needs to be corrected and changed!

Sounds like a real con job to me.  Tell me are they planning on selling snake oil?

This company is a scammer... They charge your ccards with false business  charges... Please  watch out for them..  They have used my business name to scam 3 people so far.    I have called the police and reported them

I know who it is now I donated 40.00 to a go fund me page.It is legitimate

WPY: It is actually a site that is connected to GoFundMe and other donation sites.  Wish it listed the site the donation was made, it would make life easier.

I was charged too, and kept reading below.  Then realized it was for a GoFundme that I donated to for a friend.

I thought this was a fraudulent charge at first but after reading other comments, I realized that I did contribute the same amount to a GoFundMe campaign for a friend.  I wish it said GoFundMe instead of WePay.

I have a  charge on my statement for $50 it say WPY  In loving Memory it have about 13 number like a confirmation number.

It's for Go Fund Me.  Did you donate to a Go Fund Me cause?

If it truly was that, then there was no reason to look up the phone number.  Unless you want people to believe your scam.

Saw this charge, didn't recognize number and got worried as well. Glad I checked here first. As I see people are saying it is to a Go Fund Me account. I did donate to help with a funeral.

This was the number on a mystery charge.  Turned out to be a GoFundMe donation.  Valid
