Harrassing phone call.  Reporting to the Federal Trade Commission.

This guy Robert keeps calling with threatening phone calls from this number about a case file in my name telling me he coming to my job and work to serve me with paper...  how do i stop this???

I received a message to call back this number saying he's sorry but I'm going to be served with papers next week and I need to call him to stop them.  He gave a name of Cambridge & Stein. The caller ID showed NC,USA . I googled both the number and the name  - I have no idea who this is or what it's in regard to, He also called my family saying the same thing. Infuriating!!

Received a call referencing a case number and an attempt to contact to serve papers and appear in court.

I received the same call. They told my daughter I needed to go to court. What is this about? Did anyone actually get served at there job or house? I haven't even lived here very long.

I got the same call about a pay day loan from a Robert Milburn saying if I dont call them back they will show up at my home or work to serve me with a notice of intent?? They are so rude they offer no information or any help they just yell at you. Has anyone actually been served by this company Recovery Processing Systems?!

Some guy buy the name Chris Wallace called my mother told her I am suppose to appear in court? Didnt say why n left an 855 502 7963 number. I tried called just à fast busy tone... Scary...

I received a call today at work from 855-502-7963.  The number came up Withheld, as we have caller ID I didn't answer it.  A very rude man named, Robert Milburn left me a message telling me that I, "have been served" and that I needed to immediately call them back to give them either my home or place of employment's address.  Now, if this was a "true" debt, wouldn't they already have that information?  Anyway he left a case number and demanded I call.  Now, they have to notify me in writing about the debt BEFORE they sue me, right??  I have received no information on this what-so-ever.  I constantly check my credit reports and there is nothing outstanding on them.  The man was very intimidating.  Plus, I haven't even received a call a home from this place.

I got a message today but it was for my brother.

A) I don't know why they would have my number as a contact for him.

B) He gave his (alleged) name, Brian Sanders, but did not say where he was calling from or what it was regarding. He gave a claim number and said that he needed to verify an address for service of process. He then said to call a "mediation firm" at this number. When I called the number, it was for Recovery Processing Systems.

C) The number he called from listed on my cell phone as "private."

D) All very weird.

Same exact case. Brian sanders..I'm not worried. They just want money that they will NEVER get. Too bad

Someone named "Bryan Sanders" called and said thinking it was my mom's phone and said they needed her address because there was a claim filed against her and if she did not call back to give the info, then it would make things rather difficult. She would have to appear in court, blah blah blah, and that this was her first and final notice. TO call 855-502-7963 for claim #105-980. Sorry "Bryan" you can't fool me. I hope others aren't fooled by this scammer. I hope police/FBI can get on this. I can't believe with all the other complaints from people, this number is still in service and has yet to be tracked down and these people are still free to pray on innocent people. Shame on them!

Some Guy  Named Chris Wallace Called my Sister and Told her would be seeing me either Friday or Monday and needs me to call him. At this bogus number..Gave her a case number too.

i recieved a call from this number also. Guy would not give his name. Same situation and gave the number for me to call and a case number. I called the FBI and told them, they said it is a scam and to report all of the information on the FBI website complaint section .The FBI is going to investigate.  They need to be locked up. I never took out a loan. I called the number they told me to call , and no one every answered the phone. Its all a scam.

I also received a call from this # same situation as everyone else but his name was mark oliver & as soon as i said i wanted proof of this he said i'd been contacted several times by american cash advance i said no i hadn't. i asked wat i owed he told me $542.00 & asked for my c.c. info i told him no that i didn't give that out and asked for a address to mail a money order to he refused and told me they only take c.c. over the phone for payment. i told him i was getting to file bankruptcy anyways and send me wat ever info he had proving i owed them & i would give to my atty. he got mad and hung-up on me. my cell that he called is not even in my name its in my moms so i dont know how they even got my number. they told me i'd be served wednesday (10/12).  ill let you know if anything happens but from everything ive read and researched on other sites also they are just a scam.

Recieved a message stating they would be here to serve me on some day for a company she couldnt tell who its was or for what.  Dont know what this is about except maybe a scam.  Its crap!

I have been getting these phone calls for the past 2 days. The first day I called my husband and when he called and talked to them he couldn't get them to tell them what the exact date this supposed transaction took place. First call was from a guy named matthew stone then a guy name michael wise, today I got the same call and he told me that if he didn't hear from me today that he would be at my place of residence or job (lil does he know I don't work i am a stay at home mom..stupid idiot) to serve me with papers....well I will be waiting for this person tomorrow to laugh in his face as well.

I am going to be served on the same day....when we asked for proof as to which day this money was deposited into my account he said for me to look back through my records and when my husband said no you should have it in a file that you should be looking at. He got mad and hung up on my husband. Plus when I told him that I didn't have a job he asked me "well then how are you making it out there?" I laughed and said I am a domestic goddess during the day and a International spy at night. If this were legit they couldn't or wouldn't ask such questions.
