If this call was legit it would be from the Social Security Office and shown on your caller ID. They leave a message but give no nameof the person whom they are contacting.  The number that calls me says Sherman Texas using 1-903-442-0471 which is originating out of Longview Texas. I believe this is a fraud attempt to get your social security number or collect other information. Note this could be a debt collector attempting to verify you so keep that in mind also.

We received a voicemail today, saying "I'm calling in regards to an issue very recently filed within our office involving your name and your social security number" (though they do not say our name or SSN on the message) "At this point I'm not sure if you've received the documentation sent your address we have on file (again, they don't state our address), but in order to resolve the issue, we would need to speak with yourself (no name given) or any type of appropriate representation. Please press one now to speak with an associate or return the call as soon as possible to 855-527-8272. (repeats the number) Thank you."  We googled this number and found it online and connected to Curtwright & Klein, LLC, who state they are a collection agency out of Williamsville NY. BUT...the number on our caller ID was Nevada: 775-341-0034. WE STRONGLY SUSPECT THAT THIS IS A SCAM ATTEMPTING TO SECURE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS FROM UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE WHO RESPOND TO THIS ROBO-CALL. WE ALSO SUSPECT THAT Curtwright & Klein is either a) a front website to lure people into the scam or b) a legitimate business whose number is being used, unsuspectedly. The only thing we could find online from the caller ID number - 775-341-0034 is that it's a landline in Hawthorn, Nevada. BTW: We neither have a debt in collections or a social security issue.

I have received countless calls from this number (855-527-8272), requesting personal information about my brother. I have told them each time that I do not have his information to give. These people are obviously experienced scammers and are very aggressive in their approach. They refuse to stop calling despite the number of times I have told them to go F&$k themselves...

They have no intention of stopping the calls. These are hardcore criminals intent on extorting money for non-existent debts and will continue to harass you, your family (and your dog, if you have one), until they succeed in getting what they want. Just hang up and block the calls.

Got a call message from Curtwright & Klein wanting to speak to my dead husband immediately.  I called back and told them he died in 2003.  They wanted to know how old he was and his birthdate.  I hung up.  I hope they can speak to him immediately but it is very long distance !!!!  lol

This number called someone I haven't talked to nor seen in 7+ years asking for me. I called they number, never asked my name just demanded my birthdate and SSN. Total scam in my opinion.

I received a call on my home voicemail saying exactly the same thing without any name attached.  This is definitely a scam and should be reported.  I do not have any outstanding debt issues and am very suspicious of these kind of calls.

The call came in on my home phone as "out of area" saying this was a last attempt for me to respond before my information was turned over.  No details as to who, what, or why but gave this call back number. Of course I didn't call.   Pure scam.

This number is calling my in-laws house looking for me.  Very irritating!  Told them their number is the only good number that they have for me and that they need a statement from me about some documents filed with their office.  Possibly an old debt or a scam.

These people are calling my 12 year old daughter on her cell phone. She thought she was in trouble and got scared. I will be reporting it if they call again

This number called my husband and left a voicemail. I called them back they had my dob and social security number they said I was being taken to court in a civil suite for a debt I haven't paid on. Can someone tell me if they have been taken to court after speaking with these people! They really freaked me out!
