Hi! M in Nevada have you been contacted anymore by these people or taken to court??

Got a call saying that all attempts to reach me have failed and that if I wish to make a statement on my behalf before they take action I need to call them. Of course, they don't mention the name of the company, what the call is in regard to, what account or person is involved, etc. It has to be a scam. I did not call back. My caller ID said 584-636-0042, which is local for me, but they wanted me to call back at 855-527-8272.

Got same message in SD and the caller ID says SDCaller 741-5173.

If they think I'm calling them back with the message they left they are crazy!  My name and social security number was received by them?  Please and then i suppose I need to verify that number to make sure it's me right?  NUTSO.  And if it's a real collection company try being upfront and say who you are and why you are calling.  In this day and age trying to scare folks with "we have your SSN" isn't the best tactic.  If you google further they have setup shop in several locations NY, FL and CA.  However, these were all in June of 2015..... Smelling bad too me

i just received a call from a local number to me saying the exact same thing as M- Nevada said.  I also googled both numbers and the law office it was "supposed" to have originated from.  Couldn't find a law office by that name in the town the call came from nor any lawyer by either name practicing anywhere in my area!  I may be dumb but I'm not dumb enough to fall for this crap!  The call ended by saying "if this is you then press 1".  Really?  If this WHO is me?  You haven't even told me who YOU think I am! and another thing!  Offices of WHAT??

It is illegal to claim to be an attorney if they are not.  Report them to your state's attorney general's office.

I have gotten 1 call daily for the past four days to my home phone number with the same recording verbatim in the post by M of Nevada on June 19.  The incoming call is from "Las Vegas, NV at 702-478-2402". I picked up the phone the first time and just got a recording.  I did not pick it up the second and third time and there was no message left.  Today, I did not pick it up and the recorded message was left on the recording machine.    I have not returned the calls to the 702 area code number or to 855-527-8272 as the recording asks.   A legitimate caller would have my name and not ask for my "representation".   I have no debt issues and have no doubt this is a scam.

Received a couple of calls from someone leaving a message to call 855-527-2872.  They left a message:
"I'm calling in regards to an issue very recently filed within our office involving your name and your social security number" (though they do not say our name or SSN on the message) "At this point I'm not sure if you've received the documentation sent your address we have on file (again, they don't state our address), but in order to resolve the issue, we would need to speak with yourself (no name given) or any type of appropriate representation. Please press one now to speak with an associate or return the call as soon as possible to 855-527-8272. (repeats the number) Thank you."
Don't have any debt collection or SSN issues so assume this is a scam.  Just a good reminder not to take calls from people you don't know.

I been getting theses calles non stop I was worried till I stated to google it and found all of these people with the same problem. Thank you to all for posting !!

I had someone call me from this number and it went straight to voicemail. I'm not sure who this is or what the company is. Can anyone share some insight to this?

They say they are a bank and that I owe them money.

Got this call today. Message stated exactly what M from Nevada quoted.

received a call from a local number the voice mail was a robo call that was trying to direct me to call the number above. this is most likely a scam.

looked at the ip info http://siteomega.com/www/curtwrightklein.com it seems to originate from Scottsdale Arizona and several other fishy websites of the same nature use the same domain. not to mention the site was established on april 22 of 2015. this is obviously a scam and I made a report to the FTC. please do the same. this is the link https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#crnt&panel1-1

I received a call on both my cell and at work today, saying "I'm calling in regards to an issue very recently filed within our office involving your name and your social security number" (though they do not say my name or SSN on the message). I was instructed to call as soon as possible to 855-527-8272 or I will have to suffer the consequences. I'm sure it's a scam!

Make a police report if they are harassing a minor.

This group.  Seems to have a location in Texas.  Site says they are debt collectors.  Clearly not an attorney firm.
Looks to me like they are simply another "Buffalo Bully" working out of a small town in western  NY State.
