"I'm calling in regards to an issue very recently filed within our office involving your name and your statement" called from 717.335.6102 and told me to call toll free 855-527-8272 then I hung up

The call came from a local area code, 859-449-3173, they did not identify themselves. Said my name and SS # was involved in a complaint, even though they never said my name or SS #,  and that I should call 855-527-8272 . I called, there was no answer, so I called the 859 number and got a recording with the name of Cartwright & Kline  and giving office hours. It was after 6 pm when I got the call so the office was closed. I can't think of anyone I owe money to who would be calling to collect. This is the 2nd call I have received, but I ignored the 1st.

I've seen messages on this forum that say Curtwright & Klein may be a legitimate debt collection company.  I'd be very careful with that conclusion.  Whoever is calling us from this ph. number is very clever at covering their tracks.  If any of you have access to Lexis Nexis or Choicepoint database, do a search for Curtwright & Klein and see what you find.  Or you can take the address, 210 John Glenn Drive, that's listed on their internet site and check the history of who has occupied that address in the past and see if there is any correlation to Curtwright & Klein.  I've researched using what limited resources I have available to me and I see that these guys have incorporated in a few states.  They're covering their tracks pretty well, but someone who is well adept at squeezing information out of Lexis Nexis or Choicepoint will definitely uncover the real identity of these fools who keep calling us all the time.  I hope someone out there will post the information.

I received the same call and voicemail.  I figured it was a scam.  I live in Pennsylvania and the call came from my area code.

I'm in the same situation. The lady calling me for 2 months now. Today she leave a message that I need to call her back because she need my SS# and assets information. I have no credit issue.

I got this phone call too. It must be a scam

Calling asking for my birth date and SS#

Got a call saying they were from Social Security and that there was a problwm with my account.

Same voice messages I'm getting every week. This is a scam. The lady said I just received complain about you. Please call us I need you SS# and all the assets attach to your name.

I received the same call and it's word for word the same you posted. The differenice for me was that it came in with a 510 area code. Not calling back and I'll check my mail to see what if any of this matches up.

Good to know. Thanks. The number that they want you to call is the same number they asked you to call for a social security problem which is also a scam!

Unwanted call daily sometimes multiple calls in a day from 855-527-8272. Claims to have an "incident related to your name and SS# (mentions neither, very generic) asks you to hit 1 to connect or call back, smells of a SCAM to get your private info, don't call back or respond!!!

This is a scam. Debt collector.  I owe no debt.

Called from a local number, like others reported, then said to call 855-527-8272.  Had the exact same msg as others posted too about name and Ssn being placed with their office blah blah blah.  They never state who they are or who they are calling for on their msg.

I received same phone call/message only from a Dallas, Texas number.  I have no debt in collections or social security issues either. Blocking the number not stupid enough to fall for their scam

This company keeps calling me telling me they have a legal matter against me for a Car I never purchased.  They keep asking me for my SSN and I refuse to give them that over the phone.  I never purchased a Pontiac and haven't lived in Philadelphia.   I have repeated asked for them to stop calling my number.  Spoke to a supposed Brian Ross today who assured me that I would no longer get any phone calls from him or their offices.  They have told me this before.  I want this to stop.......!

Also got a call from a local number asking me to call the 855-527-8272 .

They left the same message as others have stated. Asking for my name and Social Security number. This is clearly a scam. This is not a debt collection agency. I have no outstanding debts.

The local number they called me from is 256-251-7028.
