Harassing, and invasive.

Got two calls over 3 days. Something about needing to verify daughters SS number. Like I know that and would give that over phone if I did, morons....

They called me twice leaving a message about needing info for someone ive never heard from. Finally i called them back to tell them to remove my number, and they questioned me about who it was and how did i know i got this message if i didnt know them. and told them to take my number off the listing. When he wouldnt agree i told him you called me and im not giving you any info and he got made i cussed and yelled at him so he hung up. i called back asked for the company name and he said he wasnt giving me any info. and hung up so i called back and told him i would keep calling until he took my number off so he threatened to file harrasment if called back. LOL Hopefully that will be the last i hear from them!

Wanted my ex brother in laws information

These people call our business line so frequently asking for another person's name that doesn't work here.  I love to yell at them for no reason.  LOL! It's like a blood pressure workout! LOL!  They get so worked up, it's awesome!

I received a message from a fast talking female. She said she needed to confirm my address as the primary residence for a name that was inaudible. Also said something about a demand notice that would be expedited w/i 24-48 hours, and consider myself warned. LOL!!! REALLY? I don't owe anyone, so after I read a few comments on the internet, and saw from the BBB that they were a law firm for debt collection, but not accredited by the BBB, I called them back. A rude, smug male answered saying M&S Inc. I told him I received a strange call, and looked the number up and it showed them to be a scam. He smugly said that's not true. When I was asking how they got my name and number, he rudely interrupted me, asking for the file#. I gave it to him and he looked it up and asked did I know Quad Goug. I'm not sure if I'm spelling the first name correctly, but he spelled the last name for me, because it was a strange name to me. I told him not only has that person never lived in my residence, and I don't know them, I've NEVER heard that name before. Then he tells me his file is showing me as a relative, in a tone as if I'm lying. I repeated that I don't know this person. Then he says, "Really? Is your middle name_____?" It wasn't even a name you name a female. In fact sounded like a surname. I told him my middle name, but he wanted to continue to challenge me on what MY middle name was. I told him my first and last name are common, and obviously they have the wrong person. He rudely interrupted again asking what number I wanted removed. I started giving him my number they called, and he interrupted me while giving him the number, by repeating "what's the number!?" I said I'm giving it to you! I told him he was an idiot and rude. He started to say something smugly, but I hung up. He immediately called my phone again, but I didn't answer. I dared him in my mind to leave a message, because not only would I have reported him for harassment, but would call my cousin, who's an Attorney.

They handle all kinds of debts but are threatening legal action if I don't pay and give them my banking information. Told the associate Josh several times that I expect paperwork and all he repeated was that they wouldn't send it.

Fair Debt Acr states otherwise that you can request paper documentation and if they refuse they are breaking the law.

Got a call, also female voice. Said someone I have never heard of was living with me and she needed verification. Called back but it was after hours so I did NOT leave a message. Got to be a scam. When will this sort of crap stop?

Seems like they get a credit report on someone, call every phone number associated with that person in order to get them rattled, then offer a 50% reduction in the debt if you pay them within 24 hrs. Problem is they're not the holders of the debt and are actually scammers who will take your money and run, leaving the full debt balance intact!  I'd just ignore their calls, or better yet waste their time by babbling back to them like a moron :)

Kept recieving a call saying i have 48 hours to reply or i will be in trouble with the federal and state. they supposedly had my social and address and was sending a letter i needed to sign for. definitely a scam -- still used my maiden name and wouldnt give any information in the message or when i called.

Called My Son's Ex-Wife with a ticket number and said it was urgent for Him to call within 24 to 48 Hours to expedite something? Called the number and Lady did not state what company they were with and to call during Business Hours, Which were not available.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

Sent an email from what they said was 'Windows Support Center' saying that my computer was taken over by Japan, Germany and Russia. I needed to call 'at once' To allow them to 'remotely diagnose' my computer. Any questions I'm to call 1-855-616-9681.

Called to verify that my ex husbands wife lived with us and her social. I called them back and they hung up on me several times then threatened to have me arrested for harassment.

They called my house phone twice in days with the name of an ex brother n law, said they  had my SS# and  I have had final notice.  When I called  back on the  2nd day they talk so fast when answering  the phone I asked him to repeat the name of  the  business he was calling from he did  it again very fast.  On the third attempt to get the  business  name  they were.  He  told me he  was  not  going  to give  me any further information until I told him my name and info... I replied that's not  happening and  hung  up.  Googled  the number and  found this  blog!!! Most of the post are from last year but I wanted to write this so people will know they are calling again .

Received a call from this number. Company name M&S, called and left a message on my mothers phone. In order to identify what the call was about I blocked my number using *67 and called from a cellphone. A man named Micheal answered, immediately asked for information about me "case number" my id or name etc. I ignored him and asked who he was and what his company was. First  Name was Micheal last name started with an S phone quality was poor and he would not repeat. Company name M&S, said they handle "client mediation" I asked sever more questions multiple times, they refused to answer any further specifics stating they needed my Info or they wouldn't answer me. Also told me they "couldn't tell me" when I kept asking. Got transferred to another man named Micheal, no last name given (different voice) again instructed to give personal Info. Same story here, except he became angry and short with me. I kept asking questions, he responded to "do you understand without information about your company I cannot give you my information" and "you sound like a scammer" we finished on this note, (me) "So you are some random [guy] then?" (Micheal) "yes sir" I then dismissed the phone call.

If your caller was 7169548958 as you stated, why are you in this thread, which is clearly not for that number?
