I do not answer this number even they let it ring for a long time.  When I don't answer it swtiches to ringing as though I am calling them.  I'll never answer and I'll never call them.  They are wasting their time.

You wrote this long comment and kept saying "debt collector" where I think you should have been saying scammer. Legitimate debt collectors won't refuse to give you information on the debt owed, and you said in your comment, "The debt collector refuses to give you information about your debt or is trying to collect a debt you do not recognize." When you should have said The scammer refuses to give you information. When you say "the debt collector," you make it sound like you're talking about a legitimate debt collector.
