I have a St. Louis number; I do not have business with First Bank. Here's the recording:
"This is the fraud protection department at First Bank calling with an important message regarding your debit card. Please call us at 1-855-663-8674. A temporary hold may have been placed on your account and will be removed upon verification of activity.  Again that number is 1-855-663-8674. If you subscribe to our line or text alerts and have received and responded to an alert in the last 24 hours, please disregard this message. You may also review your account online at firstbank.com. We monitor your account activity 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to protect you from fraud activity. If you are calling from outside the United States you may contact us directly at 1-314-666-8664. Thank you."
The actual website for the real FirstBank is www.firstbanks.com - with an s.

Call from First Bank from this # they wanted my debit # entered first off.....uh I don't think so, called my bank who verified my card had only been used by me. Tried to call the # again and it had been closed

Fraud.... No acct with this company...Who falls for this crap ....

Same scam as others listed. Call from First Bank saying fraud on account. I don't have First Bank account.

They're also stating they're with First Community Credit Union Fraudulent Dept. asking for card info, I hung up.  I'm also in the St.Louis area.

Just got the same call. Called back and the recording says you must input your card number to continue. Problem is. I don't have a First Bank CC. Doh. Yes fraud!!!

This company called my cell phone. I do not have a First Bank Account.

Same call. Checked my bank, and nothing. Scam scam SCAM!

This happened to me as well...

They said they put a hold on First Bank "debit" card. Not only don't I have First Bank but I have absolutely no debit cards! Huge red flag. I tried putting in "O" but it won't let you get passed the account number prompt, so no doubt it's fraud, how can these people get put in jail for this?

What do u mean by reverse it? I hope you did not give any info. If you did call your bank immediately and have them cancel your card.. If a transaction is pending to debit money from your account, that you did not authorize, your bank may be able to stop it. Last but not least never give your financial info or social security number to anyone in this situation. Instead you should go to or call your bank ( with a legitimate phne number you have on file for them) and verify if there are any fraudulent activity's. Hope this helps you and everyone being victimized by these sorts of scams.

Just received call from first bank about a hold on my card. I dont have an account with them. Wanted me to give them a cc number.

Do not return the call. They are attempting to collect your credit card information.

I received call saying they were First Bank and there had been a hold placed on my debit card.
I do not bank with First Bank.  I called the number and they wanted my debit card number before I could proceed.
I hung up without giving any information.
I called my bank and there was no hold on my debit card.
This was obviously scam.

Got a call from 855-663-8674 from First Bank. Female recorded voice saying it's the First Bank fraud Team. Inout my card number.

received same call. I do not have first bank account. Recording did not mention my name. Obvious fraud. I fear for people who get taken by these criminals.

Had same call w/ same call back nos. on my cell mid-day today.   As soon as I heard debit card, I knew it was a scam.  

Same as everyone above. The voice does make it sound real for a moment. They must b3 hitting St. Louis pretty hard today. Missouri AG needs to get on this.

Great. My husband fell for it. Now what to expect?  Everything we have is in the Bank?

These creeps called my son yesterday evening, he called me right after. He'd given them his info because he did not know better.. Have contacted his bank and had his card locked down, This afternoon, both my husband and I received separate calls from same number within an hour of each other.....will be filing AG report.
