My wife got this call earlier today and I got it tonight.  Same as stated here... saying there was a fraud alert on our card, even though we have nothing to do with a first bank of anything.  We are from the St. Louis, MO area as well.

Completely fraudulent and you should never give out any personal information like this to anybody.  Like others have said, the bank that has your account will never ask you for your card number.

Just got this same call in the St. Louis area. Asking me to put in my card number for my First Bank account which I've never heard of.. Such a scam. I hope no one falls for this.

Got a call saying my account was on hold or something and I needed to call the number; listened for the bank name, and I do not have bank name mentioned in the caller company. This is why I look up numbers like this.

Just received a call from these idiots. DO NOT fall for this scam. They left a VM saying there's fraudulent activity on my debit card. Their call back numbers are 855-663-8674 and 314-666-8664

Got it too but what can we do to stop & find the perpetrator?

Just got the same call in St. Louis, to my cell phone. We don't have a first bank account of any kind. Local 314 number as a return call number.  

In Michigan all firstbanks merged with mercantile so ill let my bank manager aware of this as firstbank is my bank

Contact the number on the back of the card and tell them to cancel your card and get a new one.  NEVER give financial information over the phone or computer to ANYONE.

Got the same robo call from first bank fraud department.  I don't have a first bank account and thought i would check this out on tbe web before callong bqck. Glad I. Did. Message left also said I could go to firstbank.com. haven't cbecked to see if the site is legit.  Clearly the call was a phishing scam.

Just had the same experience at 3:00pm 11/1 in Stl on my cell and on my wife's cell at 9:30 pm. Who do you report this to. No information was given out.....

Shouldn't the police or some other be notified? The # 1855-663-6874 is the caller's number and they seem to be a fake in order to try to get access to people's card number.

I got a call stating that there was unusually activity on my "First Bank" debit card. I don't bank at First Bank, but when I dialed the number back out of curiosity they wanted me to enter my debit card number. All red flags were alarming, but I would never give my number out to somebody that I initially did not contact first. So I think we can safely say that it was a scam!!!

Left message on my cell phone about a possible hold on my debit card with First Bank. We don't do business with a First Bank. Computer generated female voice. Did not return call. "If out of the country, call 1-314-666-8664." This made no sense to me, either

Well said...I received the call last night, copied down the number to check on Google..and found this site right away. I thought it was a scam as I do not have an account with First Bank!

I received the call yesterday on my cell phone also.......I ignored it but wrote down the number to check today....I don't have a First Bank account.....To add to the injury, I have to pay for the incoming calls!

This is a phishing scam.  I had to cancel me card and get new ones after I stupidly gave them my card number.  They get your card number and use it immediately for big items.  They said they were from First Bank and that a hold had been placed on my card for fraudulent use.  I gave them my card number then got "cut off".  

I have a STL number (but do not live in MO) and received a call from this number. I did not answer but the voicemail was claiming to be a fraud department at a First Bank. I don't have an association with First Bank and the number was not registered on my caller ID in terms of location. It is a scam.

I missed the call but listened to the message.  They claim to be First Bank fraud protection, my debit card may have been frozen.  I have no accounts with First Bank and they called a cell phone that is issued by my employer.  They must be calling numbers at random.

SCAM Just got this call too. Unfortunately gave info and now in the process of cancelling cards. Should have checked here first!
