Not true even though 2015 so tired of this fake stuff the bank will call you on suspicious charges on a card & they will send a text. But whatever the bank will just block all your products

I verified today that this number is a Wells Fargo number; associated with their fraud department. Like many others they called from this number. I did not give any information and called back the number on back of my card. The associate at Wells Fargo confirmed that they had called me from the 855-731-2017 number.

This was a valid number from Wells Fargo. Confirmed by calling the number on my debit card. An unauthorized person attempted to call in to Wells Fargo with my information, so they called me to check if it was me.

Wait - was or wasn't this a scam call? Besides, even if this is a "valid number from Wells Fargo didn't mean it's always Wells Fargo calling. Scammers spoof legitimate phone numbers all the time.

I received a call today from this number.  The person - John - told me about a cash advance Wells Fargo blocked.    He was from the fraud department.  I reached out to the lost card department through the regular customer service number.  It was a legit call.  Notes were on my account.  I don’t know how the scammers got my number but WFF did a good job.

I also got a call from this number and returned the call, i did not feel comfortable about all the questions they asked me.  I will go to my banker at WF tomorrow.

2/5/2021 Just received a voicemail saying they are from Wells Fargo asking me to call them at 1-855-731-2017 .

I received a voicemail message from this number. It appeared to be a fraudulent call. Message stated that they were from AT&T and then pretended as if they were actually speaking with me. Appears to be scam.

This number called and spoke very unprofessionally. The caller asked for some light personal info to verify something on my account. After the call, it just seemed so sketchy because of the caller's lack of professionalism and relaxed demeanor, so I called Wells Fargo and spoke with an actual rep who I told all this to. They agreed that it sounded likesome kind of phishing scam. I then asked them to check on the number I got the call from to tell me if it was legit. He put me on hold and came back a second later saying it was, indeed, legit and from their fraud department. THIS NUMBER IS LEGIT, APPARENTLY THE PEOPLE IN THEIR FRAUD DEPARTMENT DON'T HAVE VERY GOOD PHONE DEMEANOR.

Not a scam...at least call the number behind your card and talk to them. I did call the number behind my card (Not this number) and they confirmed someone was trying to impersonate and get a replacement card on the phone. SO do call your bank.

You are a liar. You don’t work for Wells Fargo. You work for the scammer. I received a generic email telling me to call the number. It was a phishing email. It’s not from Wells Fargo. Please don’t call this number. Call Wells Fargo directly from the number on the back of your card if you are still worried.
