you don’t work for WF. You work for the scammer. The number is fake. Call WF directly from the number on the back of your card if you are still worried.

I received an email (supposedly from Wells Fargo) asking to call this number due to fraudulent activity on my acct.  Call # on back of my WF card.  WF confirmed that the email was not sent by them.

There are SCAMMERS! Please do not give them any information. They lied and tried to gain access to my bank account. Wells Fargo told me I did the right thing by hanging up. These scammers tried to screw up my account and gain access. I am now on the phone with the bank because my debit card is blocked, and I have no access.

I get it now, "Not a customer", you had a bad date/relationship/rejection and so you decided to stop by and post garbage 7 years later?  This isn't the site for that type of complaint.

Good , do not give any information  or call that number , delete it  immediatley . Its a scam going around .

Yes, that person knew it was a scam when they posted 8 years ago.

NOT TRUE.  This number is NOT Wells Fargo.

Got 2 emails this week from "Wells Fargo" about problem with my account.  The problem is that I don't have an account with them.  It is a SCAM!!!!  Don't listen to anyone on here who says it is a real Wells Fargo number because it is not.

Received an email with this phone number saying my Wells Fargo ATM card was locked and I needed to call to unlock it.   The email was in my Spam folder which shows you it’s not from a legitimate sender.  The email said I could also unlock my card at the web site, but of course the web site didn’t indicate my card was locked.

I have had a lot of email from valid senders end up in my spam folder.  The best advice is to call your bank at a known, published phone number.

By the way the real fraud department number is listed on https://www.wellsfargo.com/privacy-security/fraud/report/ and it’s an 800 number for ATM cards.  This number isn’t listed at all so this is definitely a scam.

This a scam. They never get tired trying to screw people out of their money.  Sad thing is they probably get it from the people that need it the most. (Older and less fortunate)  They are scum bags. Or government need to work harder to protect us.
